I dont agree with the top comments. XephieFlux was right, the super bar was exhausted halfway through the combo and therefore the super would not have been possible in a real match. (Unless I am mistaken at what they are criticising) I think their answer should have more accurately said that the super bar was set on infinite (or default) in trial mode, which is why the super was capable at the end. It was simply refilling on its own, allowing for the (probably accidental) super at the end.

@MrRaphaelLippi How about you just not suck at the inputs? MvC has WAY more "button pressing" because of longer combos and overall more hectic gameplay. Inputting specials in SF isn't even hard, and if you have trouble doing it here, you're gonna be even more garbage at MvC3

@xchaosx97 Yeah longer combos, in SF, there a lot of buton for shortt combos, in MvsC3 there is a bit less buton press, especialy for supers, and there is also a easy automatic, and beginer for noobs. I'm gonna use easy and manual when I get better.

It shocked me when I first read it, I always thought Ryu just used it as a last resort on an villainous overbearing adversary. This story makes Sagat seem more down to earth, and Ryu a little brash. Which is good, Ryu is better with a few character flaws/ internal struggles (imo)

@XephieFlux His SC gauge is refilling itself, the command is to do his tiger knee, not his super. But Aqua did the tiger knee and then into his super (could be done because of refilling gauge) the super was just an extra attack.

@youdude1990 yea i just got it the timing is tricky. practice holding focus for as short of a time as u can to get him to crumple once u get the timing try the combo again. You'll have a better feel for the timing.

Later on when Ryu got his hado chi or whatever its called it was no contest between them. Ryu won. But the thing is, in the tv series Sagat never got his hadou teachings from Dhalsim. So it kinda depends. Tie? Lol.

@stanzaix Wrong. Sagat was trying to HELP Ryu back on his feet, thinking the fight was over. Ryu became possessed by the Satsui no Hado, and hit 'em with the dragon upper. Sorry to be picky, but there's a big difference between trying to help someone up, and trying to finish him off.

u have to hold on to the 2 buttons a sec and time it to where you will stun him then as soon as Sagat drops to his knees u have to hit the med punch button real fas,t then really fast do his flying knee.

If you execute a combo, It can't be blocked till you finish the combo if you do it properly. That's why it's called a combo, simple is that if your opponent was able to block, then you didn't do a combo. Some of these combos in hard trials are bred and butter combos and you should get used to doing them.

How do you do focus cancel?

You can only do a Focus cancel with certain moves. With Sagat and the Karate boys, you can do an Uppercut/Dragon Punch, but before you fly up into the air, press MP and MK at the same time, and tap forward twice IMMEDIATELY after pressing the two buttons. However, it drains half your Super metre, so you won't be able to do it as often as you'd like in actual combat.
