People saying they don't like today's music. :P you're just not listening to the right artists, and if you are you don't have the right mentality. Yeah 90's music was awesome, no arguing there, but people are stuck in it. Move on. Today's music is cool in a different way. I just think people think that since dance music isn't separated by genre much anymore it's gotten bad. No... It's still beautiful.
I lived those years I was in my early 20's and I remember every night my friends and I used to go to clubs in hollywood and after the club's closed at 2 am then we used to go to after hrs.until 10 am the next morning.. we had so much fun..those were the years..now the music of today SUCKS....
Whats the name of the song that starts 5:20 i grew up with this song on a radio station that never said its name in fact they didnt have any hosts. they closed the channel in 2000 and ive been stuck with this memory for 11 years. Great song gets me very in to it.
aaah i love early trance because it sounds like classic trance. the elements of chicago house, detroit techno and ambient music can be heard clearly because it's the pure form of trance. still i don't know who is the originator of trance music. if anyone knows, please let me know.
u have put the wrong song for 1993, it is cafe del mar (three 'n one remix) which was released in 1998, the original 1993 mixes wer "dj kid paul mix" & "cosmic baby's impression"
i wanna live years 1990 to 2000 again T.T where the music was still fantastic and moving....todays music is all bout sex and fatless body worshiping....*sigh*...someone has to build that time machine and quick...
Very nice mix. Well done. If I had to take a trance track to heaven Energy 52 Cafe Del Mar would be it. I'd say 91-94 was simply the best years of trance. Went to the best trance parties of my life during those years. Hearing these tracks again just moves my soul!
this from 1990 truely is one of remixes of Jam&Spoon Mix from 1992, this from 1993 truely is 3n1 remix from 1997, i bet that remix of cygnus x isn`t from 1994
and i must thank you also for identifying all these songs that are so deeply ingrained in my memory from dancing in clubs, after-partys and at home... we should think about making another version covering the years 2000 to 2010! sugestions for track list would be appreciated :-)
Yes, sadly that's true. In their early days, they made some good songs, but later on they destroyed trance by making it mainstream. Shame on that guys (I'm almost ashamed to be Dutch).
im not agree with you.. have you ever heard some of lee haslam, suncatchet, wezz deval.. maybe old trance producers are screwing up but there are great new producers
1996 awesome
