  • I like you. c:

  • Thanks for the help!

Btw your doggies are too cute! <3 :D

  • your so good

  • Super pretty. I have acne scars not so major but I do have. Going to try and layer it just like you did. :)

  • Cute pups

  • btw your dogs are adorable. i love dogs sooo much. hope your babies are doing well :)

  • mary kay concealer, try it. its heavy duty concealer, great coverage. you can only use minimal amount of it and it goes a long way. i have oily skin and it never made me break out. its great on concealing stubborn red spots. i swear. :) i love it.

  • I was thinking about buying this foundation but in the color ivory. Is it pink, have you used it?

  • Thank you,thank you soo much :333

  • 28 people are dumb for disliking this , the best thus far ived watched ever .

  • @Benjamine Me too.. Ive been using it for about 6weeks now and I like it.. The 1st week was not really good because my skin got flacky but after that past, my skin started to get cleared and now i only have an acne free face..:)) Thanks to that acne solution site StopAcneNow.co.cc

  • I have a question.. does it work on deep acne scars? Under the bright light, My face is like a moon's surface.. full of little craters. And when I tried to wear make up, the scars look deeper! By the way your dogs are cute, they make a good background :)

  • you are awesome! I cant even believe it!!

  • thanks. learned a lot. much loves.

  • I didn't wear moisturizer underneath my makeup either for what sounds like the same reasons as you. However, I have found the best moisturizer ever and that is the Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion. My skin absorbs it immediately and I have noticed that moisturizing regularly has improved my skin's texture and color. I don't know if you have tried it or not but I def recommend... ;)

  • Favorited....I loved your comments at the end...they make me feel beter about myself. Thank you so much for the vid!

  • Your last comment was very inspiring : )

  • Cute dog ^^

  • hye there i have a question that, ur span wet & using liquid faundation in this video is it?

  • haha..saw de dog jump at 6:59..around that time

  • I really enjoyed this vid! I love what you say at the end of the vid.

When people watch me do my makeup, they say "wow, that's a lot of makeup!" and it makes me feel bad. I would rather use a tinted moisturizer, but I can't.

  • you should do one showing how to hide acne for guys, i jst have a little bit but it still bothers me

  • THANK YOU so much!!! Ive never been able to cover my horrible scars as well I want to. It make me so embarrassed, I cant wait to try this <3

  • THANK YOU so much!!! Ive never been able to cover my horrible scars as well I want to. It make me so embarrassed, I cant wait to try this <3

  • You are so pretty! This is so helpful, I too have scarring/acne on my whole face not just my cheeks :( and actually more towards my nose and around my lips. The skin there gets so dry I can't even wear makeup though, I have gotten away from under makeup primers and concealers! foundation is the best way to go i do believe

  • cute puppy. i'm going to try this method. i've tried every other method of covering my blemishes but the redness does NOT go away

  • omg.. i lovveee u for this video!!!!!!!

  • Ahhh thanks so much for doing this! I have acne scarring on my chin and on my left cheek, and now i know how cover it up! :)

  • This was SO helpful. I have a ton of redness and scarring on my face from being burned in an accident and I couldn't find any techniques to cover it until this one. So thank you so much (:

  • If you've got oily skin you should try Grimas cake makeup. It is the best foundation i've ever used!!

  • Totally a good job dear. I share the same concerns with you 'cause I've a sensitive (acne prone) and oily skin too. Just to share, I'm using Clinique's Acne Solution Foundation btw. You might as well want to check it out. Anyway, again, good job! :)

  • Oh, do you have an updated version for this one? :)

  • Thank you for all your efforts to make this video. I learned a lot. By the way your dog is soooo cute...a beautiful friend to have...Thank you very much :)

  • GIRLL!! OMG. THANK YOU!! I spent this whole past summer working literally everyday to clear up my acne naturally and my face looks so nice!!! But I still have acne scars on my cheeks like you do... which makes me mad, but what can you do, they're stubborn sons of bitches... hahah I hate using a bunch of makeup on my skin...but I really don't want to deal with the scars anymore, so I gave in to using concealer... this helped me so much on how to put it on! =D

  • Great tutorial =) I don't know why I still watch these though. My problem isn't my foundation or technique. It's boyfriend kisses, nipples and licks the mask off!

  • i love how your soo informative you really go STEP BY STEP visually and vocally

  • THE DOG IN THE BACKGROUND IS SOOO CUTE OMG <3 Can't stop looking at it! <3

  • WOW!! I am speechless, I couldn't believe it when it showed you without the make up your skin looked so flawless!! I am trying this asap thanks!! : )

  • 00:38 HOLY SHIT !! ,

  • This may seem weird but I like how you said baggie haha :P

  • Omg I LOVE your dog. So cute(:

  • You are so beatiful.

  • Great Job! You are awesome! definitely noticed the difference and will do this for my skin. Thank you so much! My scars aren't as red as yours and accutane has helped me a LOT but every little bit helps thanks!

  • I like how your dog is creepin behind you

  • Wow thats great, you talked through it so easily too.

  • this iz like the only video that ive watched on how to cover acne scaring that i actually really really liked :) *not ta be dramatic but it waz like life changing lol* anyways thx for not being afraid to post this. it rrly helped me out so thank you so much ur awesome at wat you do

  • Your foundation has way too much of a yellow undertone and it makes me feel as if your about to be sick.. You need a different foundation colour

  • your cheeks are to yellow but you still look beautiful before...idc about scars i think theyre ok

  • you look so different! you look pretty!!!!

  • I have terrible acne scars on my face and I feel like a monster. the best thing I have found is DERMAFLAGE- it totally covers them and I feel like a normal person again. A friend of mine has a hole in her face from skin cancer and it works for her too. You should check it out.

  • i like the other video as well :)

  • I have very greasy and oily skin because of my hormones (birth control helps it but I can't always be on birth control) and it gets REALLY bad. I'm really glad you uploaded this and it makes me feel much less insecure about my acne and good to know theirs a way to cover it. : )

  • sweetie you did a great job on hiding the scars,,so new subbie here,,,thanks for the tips,,,,

  • @missjoy36 Thanks =) welcome to my channel

  • @missjoy36 - great job covering the scars, I struggle with acne scarring myself with really oily skin. you may want to add milk of magnesia to your routine before application, als monistate chafing gel.....creates a really smooth surface. I suggest it only because of the research, and funny...I used to use colorstay years ago and got away from liquid foundation, however, may be going back to it now that I know the MOM and chafing gel tip! check it out on U tube! I am going to try all!!

  • it just sucks that we have to work SO HARD to look normal.

  • This is great!(:

  • dawwww the dog is so cute :}

  • glintzy, have yoy tried good covering mineral foundations?like everyday mienrals intensive base?they cover all and look asif u dont have anything on ur face!my best discovery ever

  • @Cheer12324 well duh, it's my opinion that she could talk little less.

  • Aloe Vera Gel works well as a Primer/ Moisturizer. Plus it's really good your skin!

  • u talk too much

  • puppy ♥!!!

  • Wow. I don't have hardly any acne anymore, but My skin is scarred and discolored. Normal makeup hardly covers it, and even proffesional product, like Estee Lauder gives me a run for my money. And being really pale actually makes it hard to find foundation. Any recomendations?

  • Wow I never realized how much of a difference makeup can have. I'm new to the whole makeup thing and was wondering if you had some tips. I have a bunch of pimple scars on my face (I have a nasty habit of popping pimples even though I know how bad it is) and I never really cared about them but recently since there is more I'm feeling a little self conscious about them. I have a formal coming up in August and I would appreciate it if you had any tips since I don't know where to start

  • Amazing cosmetics will stay on your face ALLL day. I have super oily skin and it works

  • Sweet dogs xD

  • nicely done :) thank you!

  • wow all these people are commenting about her not having bad acne and they have it worse. when i really saw hers, i thought, wow how could you say that isnt bad. bcasue for me thats super bad. i just have like 1 or 2. i never realized till now that i dont hav it bad at all

  • you have convinced me to buy this foundation! Ive watched other peoples videos but they all had great skin without makeup so I wasnt sure. Thank you!

  • you look like Sketch from skins

  • Um awesome but do you think that it would work on acne on someones back? I have really clear face skin but my back is horrible and my prom dress is a drop back

  • @NotSureWhoToLike Yep, just try to keep a boarder without any makeup around where your dress hits so if it moves around a bit when you're dancing you don't have any rub off. It's never came off my face before but there would be a lot more friction and sweating on a back than there would be a face. I wouldn't want you to get any on your dress. =)

  • @glintzy thank you for telling me that! sadly I didnt get to use it cuz my boyfriend got grounded a couple days before prom :(

  • wow... awesome work

  • Dude your acne isn't even that bad. I would die for skin like yours, for people like me with acne and acne scars on my whole face like my entire face, it actually is hard. And things like this don't work. You should be thankful and stop saying how much you have because its not even a lot.

  • @HeatherBobb If you'd been watching my videos for awhile you'd know that it was quite a bit worse than this at one point. This technique does work on skin worse than mine, but it is true that at a certain point makeup isn't going to be able to camoflague it. This video is geared towards people who have their acne somewhat under control and are ready to wear makeup. If your acne is extremely severe and active then skincare should be the only thing you're concentrating on.

  • You seem alone when you have acne because none of my mates have it .. It just seams to be me .. :/

  • @ABOVEandBEYOND11145 I know how you feel, my friends don't have it either. You're not alone though, there are many of us just like you. =)

  • @ABOVEandBEYOND11145 I totally know how you feel. My friends don't only have no acne at all, they also have like a perfect skin.

  • i suffer quite badly from acne for almost 3 years now. i have scars covers most of my cheeks:( i also have dark rings around my eyes and because i wear glasses it makes them look darker. i do think your way over covering scars is great and ill try it tomorrow for my birthday :) thankyou

  • @belct123 It might take a few times of practice to get the technique down but I do think it will work for you.

  • Have you ever tried using a sponge and pressing the power onto the spots you need to cover most? That's what I do and I press the powder on the triangle areas under the eyes, where you mentioned people have larger pores. I find it makes it look less porous and gets rid of redness too.

  • wow thats amazing !!

  • Have you tried Bio Oil on your acne scarring? im wondering if this would be any good as i know its great for scarred skin tissue but im worried as it is an oil it might be to oily

  • @spaceysno1girl I haven't tried it because I've heard so many people say it broke them out.

  • @glintzy

Ok thanks thats helpful I just got a breakout calmed down so i think i'll give it a miss dont want to aggravate it x

  • LOL omg ur dog is just creeping in the back <3 so cute

  • thanks so much for this!

  • When I first started watching I was like hah she doesn't even have acne wth.... lol but then u show it and you do! Your trick is amazing I have never had such good coverage in my life and im 27, been through so many concealers and foundations, I wish I could just give you a big hug, you are so beautiful inside and out, thank you thank you thank you, you rock!!

  • how do you do your eyebrows?

  • @razzberrry I have a video up on how I do my brows =)

  • Thank you so much for this! I'm only 15 but my skin is oily isn't very good AT ALL and I have some scarring too and I feel terrible about it, especialy compared to other girls' in my high school. I know you said Colorstay was great for heavier coverage but I wanted to make sure you still think so before I go out and buy it. Also, I was wondering if I should buy the bare minerals powder and how good it works. Thanks! xx

  • @PriscillaxPiracy It sounds like you really don't need the extra coverage from the BE, the foundation should be plenty for you. It might take a few tries to get the right amount of Colorstay on, it's easy to put too much on at first. With a tiny bit of practice it should look great though. =)

  • would you still recommend revlon colour stay for acne prone skin?

  • @anthennath Yes, I still think it's a great foundation. I use Almay TLC now because I like how it feels on my face better, and my scarring isn't as bad anymore. If you need tons of coverage I'd still suggest Colorstay, but if you can get by with a little bit less coverage and just a concealer for your spots I would say go with the TLC.

  • Sorry lol piealamade007

  • @piralamode007 i know what u mean n it sucks to have acne scars and well what u can try is drinking apple cider vinegar it will clean ur face

  • I just began having acne scarring, and I am curious... is there a way to minimize their appearance without makeup? Like, is there a way for them to go away, or am I stuck with them for the rest of my life?

This might be a rediculous question, but I really have no clue and you seem to know what you are talking about :)

  • @piealamode007 Gentle exfoliation and time are the best ways to fade them without getting expensive cosmetic procedures done. I also found that oil cleansing nightly really helped the appearance of my skin.

  • @piealamode007 I recommend pure aloe vera gel, it is amazing for getting rid of acne scars.

  • @piealamode007

I have the same problem as you and i recommend using citric acid or lemon facial cleanser( i get mine at an Asian store they usually have them there) . Citric acid is a natural bleacher and it will help the acne scarring fade over time. I actually see improvement in my skin and I hope you have some to :)

  • You do a really nice job! I found this video to be very helpful!!

  • I have have caramel skin tone and i have acne scars same place.....i was able to follow this and this helped soo much!

  • THis was awesome! thanks for doing this video it helped alot!

  • I had to prepare for a photoshoot last Saturday and your video totally helped me out.

I like you. You're awesome with makeup.

But I have one single question... I have this really dark mole on my face that needs to be covered for another photoshoot (it was covered by hair last time) and when I tried the steps you showed us in the tutorial, it's still kinda visible. Should I just use more concealer for it or am I supposed to do something else?

Thanks for the wonderful tutorial. :)

  • @XirianValeria01 I'd use concealer on the mole before you put your foundation on.

  • @glintzy Oh, thanks. Hope I didn't bother you. :)

  • @XirianValeria01 not at all =)

  • Thank you for making a tutorial that is not only comprehensive, but also realistic!

  • This was a good video but trust me with acne, you are better off without any makeup. It might help you look good for a while but it just aggravates your acne even more. It just becomes a vicious cycle.

  • @shangrila628 Not entirely true, if you're removing it correctly and using products that don't aggravate acne it won't make it any worse. Take a peek at one of my most recent videos, you'll see my skin has improved tons since I made this one and I have been wearing foundation this whole time. The two newest vids I have no foundation on and you can see bare skin compared to what it looked like here.

  • @shangrila628 And there's a reason why she uses those products with certain minerals; there are some makeup that help stablize (or even lessen) acne when used.

  • the dog sits on the bed!!!!how cute:)

  • THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO.

  • Do you know anything about how to cover craters from acne? Or what makeup to use to make them less noticeable? Have you tried the HD Forever foundation from Sephora?

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO! I was so informed! love your pooches !

  • Thank you miss!!!! =)

  • i tried this but everytime i put the tiniest bit of make up on my face looks caked :/ idk y could it be that i have big pores?? or what iv tried the mineral powder too it all looks cakie

  • THANK YOU so much for this video! I am brown, but my acne scars look exactly like yours and are in the same spot. I'm going to definitely try this out! I have been thinking of buying Revlon PhotoReady foundation. Do you know if photoready is just as long-lasting and similar consistency as Revlon colorstay?

  • @RaniSyn I didn't like PhotoReady, the formula is very different from Colorstay. It's wasn't as long lasting on me, wasn't as buildable and was very shiny.

  • So say you didnt have a sponge or a foundation brush, what else would you recommend??

  • @AmberBeautyandStyle Apply with clean hands

  • wow this not only helped makeup wise , but the speech at the end helped (: haha

  • cute doggies ! ^^

  • i have birthmarks on my face , makes me look like i haven,t washed my face. i tried concealer and foundation, but it wears off soon and the marks shows up again. can you help me? plz suggest something.

  • @bhumjarim If you follow this tutorial you'll be able to cover them.

  • i have birthmarks on my face , makes me look like i haven,t washed my face. i tried concealer and foundation, but it wears off soon and the marks shows up again. can you help me? plz suggest something.

  • Thankyou. I love how you mention the larger pores near the front of the face.. the less makeup I put there the better it looks. My side scars are also similar to yours and I was very happy with how well this method covers. I think you are very beautiful:)

  • Thank you sooo much! Hate my acne, I am going to use this technique now!

  • so is revlon colourstay could? I only usually buy non comedogenic makeup (doesnt block pores) and usually this is only high end :( Also.... when I apply my powder with a brush some of the foundation and concealer comes of an you can see my acne again. It is so annoying

  • @7thFly Make sure it's completely dry before you apply powder, I usually do my eye makeup between putting the foundation on and then the powder. If it's still causing problems switch to a powder puff and press/pat the powder on.

  • amazing video... i have lots of redness and some scarring and this video helped a lot ...thnks

ohh nd question--where would i be able to find the powdered sunscreen or what brands have them?

  • @LuvsSplit Some brand that make them are Bare Escentuals, Jane Iredale, Colorscience, Peter Thomas Roth, and Physician's Formula makes a spf 50 powder foundation for a drugstore option.

  • @glintzy thnks so much, ur video nd response have been rlly helpfull : )

  • amazing video... i have lots of redness and some scarring and this video helped a lot ...thnks

  • what is a good foundation to use to cover acne/scarring, but is cheap, like something i could pick up at walmart/target, etc?

    thanks(:

  • @rawritsalexa1 You can get Colorstay at Walmart or Target

  • This was very helpful, thank you! xxx

  • you're so pretty :)

  • good video but LOL the dog was very distracting at times :)

  • You do an excellent work of covering of your acne. But I need to say. I do not want to be rude, I just want to do an alert, dogs must not be on the bed, sofa or place where you put your body and/or face. Do not advance the higienization of the face, brushes,make-up, if a dog (for more clean than he is) goes to your bed and scratches. Everything is infected again. Animals must not sleep at the same place as the persons. Ask for a dermatologist or another doctor and you understood.

    .

  • You are so pretty!

  • Thankyou very much, I've been fighting with makeup since grade 7 ( that's about 10 years ago) and my scarring from problem skin has seriously gotten me down. The funny thing is, I literally had Revlon Colorstay foundation in my hand lastnight to try, but put it back after being worried it may clog my pores! Looks like I'll be going back next week, haha. For now im going to try this process with what I have and see how it goes. Thanks a lot, having damaged skin I'd a pain and it's nice to see so

  • looks like it tickles lul ;>

  • thanx for the video. I recently had an accident and got two scars (they are little, but still they are at my face) .Once I recover from the suture, i will start to use your tips on make up. Actually, i don't know how to put make up on, i hadn't done it before, but is never to late to learn. keep posting new videos...thanx=)

  • omg thank u soo much I hate my acne scars but this video helps a lot

  • Great tut

  • thank you

    you're a life saver

  • thumbs up for the cute doggies in the back ground!!

  • Ahh, thanks for the tips! I'm so glad I finally found a video that shows how to properly cover acne scars. ^^

  • I EFFIN LOVE THIS.....<3 thas all I got to say:)

  • for years, my mom wouldn't let me wear makeup that offered any coverage. i was stuck using a tinted moisturizer that not only covered zilch, but was gone from my face in 2 hours and left me greasy! when she finally started letting me choose, i tried so many products before i came to colorstay. it's the best foundation ever, period. its a little yellow-y for me (i have very pink undertones), but its not that bad.

thanks for the tips on how to better apply it so it covers all my scars! :)

  • Your dog is so cute

  • I mean translucent...I got the foundation u used and covergirl trueblend micromineral finishing powder veil. do you think this would work good???

  • @theblogforyou Yep, it sounds like a good pick.

  • I did this with covergirl liquid foundation for oily skin, then elf mineral foundation, then just normal powder cause I sont have SPF powder and it looks kind cakey...I have breakouts and some acne scars. do you have any suggestions for me??? can u please answer because I know ittl work because it looked amazing

on you!! thanks for making the video

  • @theblogforyou I'm not familiar with the formulation of the Covergirl Liquid for Oily Skin, I've never used it. It might be thicker or more prone to caking so I'd try using less product and try to get your layers even thinner. Use less mineral foundation or even skip it and see how that turns out.

  • @glintzy thankyou so much for replying...i am going to go get the colourstay foundation tomorow, the powder sunscreen because i just used powder and some more wedges. i will try to use less foundation and less mineral foundation or none( ill see how it works ). I will also not use that much powder. should i get just the white powder foundation??

  • @theblogforyou I'm not sure what you mean by white powder foundation.

  • oh this video is great, thank you!

  • your video has helped me out alot! i also have bare minerals and it didnt really cover up all my imperfectons like i wanted it to so this video has given me better way of covering up my acne.

  • waw u did magic. have you ever tried loreal tru match? it's really lightweight and it looks natural. it also comes with spf 19 and there are shades for neutral, warm and cool undertones. it works really well. i'm going to try your technique using that foundation.

  • wow your amazing. that was a really big big help

  • i didnt even think u had scarring till u took the make up off!!! ur soooo pretttyyy!! i hav mild acne now and im having truble trying to find makeup that will cover my truble spots but still make it look natural wen i break out. got any tips?? thanks;)

  • When I first started watching this I was thinking "Oh shut up, you can't teach me how to cover something you don't have".

I was shocked to see that you actually did have scaring. Thanks for this video.

  • does this routine completely cover the acne scars because I have exactly the same thing but everytime I put makeup on I can still kinda see them

    thanks

    :)

    plz answer

  • @brittneywind2 Yes it will completely cover them. It might take a little bit of practice to get it right but you'll get the hang of it quickly.
