I am about to have this procedure done, and I want to fill girls in on what they might be doing. This blog is deigned to share my personal experience with the breast augmentation procedure. I am willing to share every detail and step of this process from scheduling the consultation to recovering from the surgery. In hopes of preparing women who wish to have this surgery for everything they might experience.
Inserting a saline implant first is actually a technique used by many plastic surgeons so that the tissue stretches slowly instead of shocking it with a large implant immediately. This is often done with patients who have never had children or are going for a fairly large implant.

So many say that women with small breasts need to "just live with it," and "just accept it." Why? A hundred years ago, we would've had to "just live with it," we wouldn't have had a choice. But we do have a choice now, and we can change it if we wish. We don't have to be unhappy if we don't want to be. Nobody has to live in my body but me, and if there's something I'm unhappy with (like breasts) and can change it, I most certainly will.
The whole idea of fake tits is gross. I don't care if men like them or whatever. I don't care what a bunch of strange nobodies find sexy. If I am happy with what I see when I look in a mirror that's all that matters. The medical INDUSTRY never tells you about the horrible consequences afterwards, not even doctors.

Im just not sure I'd be able to put myself through that much discomfort for a little extra money..great breast are fantastic but really self confidence is the sexiest thing a woman can have, and you cant buy that. @gigantasaur The skin conforms to what ever is directly under it. By placing the implant under the pec muscle, the skin will be smoother and more uniform. No more of those wrinkles on the bottom of the breast when they raise their arms. (lol just went over this in med school lecture yesterday)
the inframmary incision is the least traumatic of all, plus it provides the surgeon the greatest view of the field and i heard that this incision creates the best cleavage. still looks scary though. thanks for the informative video!

In my opinion 4 woman who is over 45, has a small lower breast shape as they are skinny and got birth more than twice and still feeling fit and attractive I guess it is worth to try. 2 big size looks ugly. If only to re-shape to get it looks more genuine then it should be OK. Only to make them stand.

Im just not sure I'd be able to put myself through that much discomfort for a little extra money..great breast are fantastic but really self confidence is the sexiest thing a woman can have, and you cant buy that. I have 36B and they are a little low but by the time they are actually saggy I wont be dancing anymore and I will have a career, (yes i got to school still) and the recovery time in and of its self will screw me over, no exercising in 4-6 weeks? that wont happen. good luck to you.

@llamatube I'm so sure you know handfuls of people who have died from Breast Augmentation. Care to give me their names, so I can look it up to verify? Clearly it would have been in the news since it' so rare... about as rare as it would be to die from an over-the-counter medication by accident. I have only heard of one girl who died as of anytime recently, and that's because she had malignant hyperthermia, a RARE reaction to the anesthesia, which could have happened with ANY surgery.

@RadBrittany There are some women out there who claim that their breast implants make them sick or as if they're losing energy, many of these same women have been diagnosed with mental disorders such as bi-polar, anxiety, and munchausen syndrome. I can understand why you may be disgusted by BA, but the fact is, here you are on this page demeaning women, and it's not women you care about, and you aren't caring about it. Clearly you are spiteful, and I can come up with some guesses as to why.

You may devalue altercations of the surgical form, but within reason there is no sin or insanity behind it. There are approximately 400,000 breast augmentation's done every year, and that' JUST breast jobs. "Life-long" complications is also as rare as death. There can be complications but they'd only be life-long if they weren't corrected, and it's usually only cosmetic.

@gigantasaur The skin conforms to what ever is directly under it. By placing the implant under the pec muscle, the skin will be smoother and more uniform. No more of those wrinkles on the bottom of the breast when they raise their arms. (lol just went over this in med school lecture yesterday)
