love this just want to dance again like i could then , loved the mod scene in the 60's music like this , smart clothes blues 6d each ooohhhhhhh lovely.
This is not a great version !!! I really appreciate so much the Four Tops but this version is PERFECT. There is everything inside, sensuality, all kinds of feelings. The only bad thing is that it's too short; The orchestra beside is unbelievable... Sounds like Curtis Mayfield's one on Move on up.... Great great song !! Thanks for that and so much respects to Barbara....
@kitbo50 I try to appreciate the quality and memories of each recording, The Tops was good of course but this is Barbara at her best. Many thanks for the comment, much appreciated.
Good - no, great - no Brilliant - Definitely. One of the songs that just makes you feel fantastic anytime of the day - an absolute classic that should be on everyone's iPod,
Many thanks for the comments, it`s a great sound, was deleted for a while but back on the tube and as good as ever. Remember to check out the Tops version, its brilliant.
This singer seemed to be way ahead of Diana Ross when she was at Motown - she had starred in the Spencer Tracy/Katharine Hepburn film "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" - she was also considered to replace Flo Ballard in the Supremes as well-
lots of GOOD MEMORIES!!!
