bought a red one 2 days ago...1.6L auto...love it. Handles really well....power is OK...getting aout 9.2L per 100 around the suburbs but on longer trips would be around the 7.5 mark. So far so good...I bought it for the looks. Its a new 3 door hatch that doesnt look like a chicks car

I bought a proton satria neo here in Australia, so far owned it for 3 months and done 4000km, no problems so far. I have heard about the crankshafts snapping at 100 000km in Malaysia? We will find out if its a problem (will definately be getting near 200 000km before my warranty is up! :D)

Handles great, solid little car. Especially for the price, I am MUCH happier driving this compared to the other cheap runabouts. the getz is great but boring, and the barina is just a daewoo :S

I have one, its great. Protons problem is that they never advertise on commercial TV Channels or in the daily newspapers or billboards. Only 273 sold in NSW in 2008.

Message for Muneu. Australian car loans are 60 months minimum and rent is like $350 a week and an avarage wage of $650 a week. Car loan for 20000 is $135 a week precise for over 5 years/60 months. Life is not easy here.

if ure livin n workin in aussie, 20K is considered el-cheapo!20k in aussie is like 20K here as well as 20K in the US...considering the local transfer earning.. imagine, my fren who is livin in LA managed to buy a mustang GT '05 for a monthly installment of only USD400++ and i'm paying RM500++ for my 1.6L Neo...Mitsu Evo in the US is only USD20K, now try to convert dat to RM if u like to compare by forex rate...it's all about buying power...

Malaysia's average monthly income...say RM1500.00...So,an average monthly salary earner have to work for 37.33 months!....while an aussie guys with AUD1500.00 needs only to work for 13.33 months to pay for AUD20000.00 car. So go figure youself...
