I don't really listen to music all that much (terrible, I know) because I'll usually choose to watch tv/youtube, play video games or read before I'll choose to put music on.

I've gone through phases of music taste as I've grown up. Started with metal (G'n'R, Iron Maiden, Slayer, etc), then got obsessed by hip-hop (Ice Cube, House of Pain, Cypress Hill, etc), then had a huge love affair with indie in the late 80s/90s (Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine, Pop Will Eat Itself)

Then got obsessed by dancey trancey techno stuff.

Now I'll listen to anything but especially Goldfrapp, Amy Winehouse, Coldplay, Travis, Kruder and Dorfmeister, Hot Chip.

Bands I've NEVER got sick of: Nirvana (of course), Orbital, The Orb, Stone Roses, Underworld, The Beatles.

I really like Placebo, The Dresden Dolls, Rasputina, Nirvana, Voxtrot, The Cure, The Faint... It could go on forever. XD You have awesome taste in music as well. If you like acoustic you should check out Elliot Smith and Gregory And The Hawk. :3

You listed Rancid... have you ever heard of The Distillers? The lead singers from both bands were married to each other, and Brody Armstrong of Distillers wrote a lot of Rancid songs. You should totally listen to the Coral Fang CD. It's in my top 5 favorite ever.

I like mostly 80's Rock and 80's Pop. I like Early Micheal Jackson and most songs by Prince. When Doves Fly is one of my favorites still today. I also like Billy Idol, Phil Collins, Cyndi Lauper, and Peter Gabriel etc. As for Techno or Electronica, I like DJ Sammy, Lords of Acid, Moby, and Venus Hum just to name a few. Right now i'm mostly into New Country like Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. But I also like johnny cash and some Elvis. And pretty much anything on the top 100.

When I was younger got into Jimi Hendrix and Prince, I'm still a fan of both. My fav music is Psychedelic-Trance and fav artist is Cosmossis. The other type of music I really is Drum and Bass.

My music tastes have varied through the years. Early 90s I liked rock and roll, then late 90s I got into hip hop. Those was the high school days. Then I got back into rock, and now I am mostly into hip hop, and old school rock. :)
