This is what would really happen. The crossover comic was all based on a poll. People voted Batman because people thinks he is cool with his deep voice. However, he doesn't invent anything nor is he as smart as you guys think he is. As an example, he doesn't invent his gadgets and suit all on his own. He has his company do it for him. They actually fought in a comic before and Batman won by kicking Hulk in his stomach while he was holding his breath from a pill of gas that Batman let out. When they met again Hulk threw Batman through a car but Batman slipped through the window of the car and landing on his feet. So 0-1-1 is the Hulk so far, how ever Hulk should just be able to clap and beat Batman.

When they first met Batman did try to take Hulk down in a direct manner. The first few tries failed, but he did eventually get it right. The thing is that was a version of the Hulk where knock out gas would actually effect him and even then Batman had to wait until Hulk decided to hold his breath and wait it out - yes "stupid" green Hulk thought of that - and kick him hard in the solar plexus to force the Hulk to take a deep breath.

However that being said I dont think Batman would win but its not just gonna be a small three second hulk wins fight if for no better reason than that Batman could escape from the hulk. When they first met Batman did try to take Hulk down in a direct manner. The first few tries failed, but he did eventually get it right. The thing is that was a version of the Hulk where knock out gas would actually effect him and even then Batman had to wait until Hulk decided to hold his breath and wait it out - yes "stupid" green Hulk thought of that - and kick him hard in the solar plexus to force the Hulk to take a deep breath.
Batman is unbeatable when prepared...

Eg: Batman vs. Aliens issue 1, Batman vs. The Darkness. If it was in a situation where Batman had NOT heard of The Hulk or knew what his power was about, he would just go for generic gadgets, and martial arts to take him down. However, if he was in close range, Hulk would kill him in one punch. FACT.

You are sticking with the other. That without broken bones like with Bane, or lacerations like with the fight with Predator he somehow after 4 seconds of fighting figures out Hulk’s abilities, has a science montage, and comes back with a convenient gadget to stop him.
