  • anyway, the music is OK just not what i was looking for. no more negetive comments plz. cheers

  • is this a modernization of an ancient song?

  • that sucks

  • that's sh*te

  • tthis is rubbish ,im irish and nobody listens to this crap,if your looking for a good celtic war song see luke kelly's" Kelly, the boy from Killane" or "Oro se do Bheathe abhaile"

  • very funny to watch folks argue about thier roots! Like it even matters, get a life noobs, no one cares if your irish, american, euro, or whatever, only thing people care about is if your an asshole or not. Personality is whats important. Sheesh!!!!!!!

  • @icystratopaul Heritage, Family, Culture and history is everything that defines a person by birth and is everything also to define a people and nation, without it you are nothing, your people are nothing and your nation is nothing. I can tell already you are a globalist.

  • @NewRome101 I dont read into it that deep aswell as you shouldnt either. So if you where a german your heritage not so long ago is nazism and murder. Is that who you are and what your nation and people are. Nope! Now do you get my drift. Dont be fooling yourself thinking where your born matters at all. As far as globalist, we are all globalist, alot just dont know it yet. Cancel your internet and never watch the news again for starters and you'll see what i mean. Hint Hint...

  • @icystratopaul

    Your age? ...I'm guessing 15.

Anyway kid, heritage and nationality do matter. We have come so far as a species and as a race. We did it with our brethren (don't say what you're thinking, perv) and much beauty and uniqueness was created. Why not celebrate it?

Also, from an evolutionary point of view it's a good way to think. It makes you want to live more and help your people more.

PS: Knowing about other countries going-ons =/= integrating with those countries.

  • @ytdcfjhvjvp0j Well you went way to deep on that. Doesnt matter where your from only who you are as a person. There are good people and then there are asshole. country and origin puts no boundry on this fact. I dont care if someone is wearing a kilt or a turban or a mcdonalds belly. if you suck as a person then you suck. Someones previouse ancestors and country of origin is so unimportant in the overall scheme of a who a person really is. Definetaly reading into to deep.

  • @icystratopaul

Well of course you may like people whether they wear a kilt, turban or McDonald's belly provided they are good people, but that does not mean you should instantly abandon all that you are. Be kind to all people, yes, but be proud of what you are and where you came from.

Tell me: Where do you descend from?

  • Cruachan - "I Am Warrior" maybe this is what you ment by celtic warrior song

  • @MiamiDolphinsClyde10 Care to give a source for that quote? The Atlantis theory is just that. A theory. In regards to this: "the basques are the origin of rh negative blood(like Jesus) a holy blood n the universal bloodline" That also is only theory, along with 7-8 other possible origins. And btw, Basques and Atlanteans are two SEPARATE theories as to the origins of rh negative, not related. And if the Basques DID descend from Atlanteans, then Atlanteans, not Basques, were the originators.

  • @AntiNubDevice "Palæolithic European man of the Miocene and Pliocene times was a pure Atlantean, as we have previously stated. The Basques are, of course, of a much later date than this, but their affinities, as here shown, go far to prove the original extraction of their remote ancestors"

  • @AntiNubDevice watch?v=IZEY-7Vqzd4 if this vid doesnt convince u,nothin will

  • @AntiNubDevice Basque is the oldest language around,so old that its the original language of mankind.A lyran language like alex collier said. The Basques i.e. the atlanteans colonized the world and schooled the world in pre historic times thats why languages like ainu n dravidian are pretty much the same as basque, why would asian languages be so similar to a european language? why no language is related to basque structure wise?cos its the original language of mankind.Bilbao=babel

  • @AntiNubDevice the basques are the originators of rh negative blood this is the blood of the 1st white people put on earth...a holy blood the universal bloodline...ffs,How can people still doubt this? lol

  • @AntiNubDevice no shit..but atlanteans=basques cos the basques remained isolated(over millennia) for so freakin long that we still preserve the rh neg blood proving we are pretty much intact

  • @AntiNubDevice watch?v=nUQItUZ8ojs&feature=related

  • Whit?? no whit a thought it would be, no win many battles with this:) more likely to relax them then they'll all go home lol

  • Warriors??? LOL!!! Sounds like new age wuss music.

Try Winterborn by Cruxshadows or the March of Cambreadth. Warrior music should have balls in it, not this airy fairy sound. :)

  • SO POWERFULL MUSIC!!!

  • Pretty weak song. It's not classical enough; it's not "metal" enough. A band like Apocalyptica gets the blending of the two genres right. This is a rather generic power ballad from the late 80s with some synthesized "old-sounding" instrumentation thrown in for the hell of it.

  • uh...that synth and the off beat drums lol

  • seems legit.

  • What a load of TOSH

This sure has nothing to do with WARRIORS

  • this sucks

  • i'm walloon and this track sounds

  • Awesome song...but who is it from? Wich band?

  • Doing my geneology I've learned I'm IRISH SCOTTISH and CORNISH

We used to spread from Britain to Portugal they might have made us live on the "fringe", but were still here!

  • @Lparsons7641 the celts are genetically basque on their y-chromosome.

  • @MiamiDolphinsClyde10 FACT

    its type o rh-

  • i have saxon blood running thru me but i still love ancient celtic music. i love all music from that era. roman is a bit crap their horns and string instruments are out of tune

  • @markash1971 I agree. Looking just through my grandparents, I have ancestry in Scotland, Ireland, Wales, England, Germany, and Israel. I am proud of all my heritage, but my main boast is I am a Scottish-American.

  • @scotsmanmemag Could not your main boast be that you are American?

  • @Stuart1267 Good point. I can claim my ancestry with pride, but I am an American, and proud of it. I will say, I am even more proud that I am a fundamental Christian.

  • What is the ethnic difference between celthic peoples and germanic peoples?

  • @Apeheadthemoejoe loads of difference really. if you think about it, its like saying whats the difference between an english man and a red indian

  • @Apeheadthemoejoe They were physically and culturally similar. Tall, muscular, many blondes and red heads, many had blue/green eyes, fair skin. Although it seems germanic peoples were blonder, and the celts had more red hair. They shared a common origin, as they were indo europeans.

  • @1999521 Isn't it interesting that the very label "Indo-European" admits that there are several cultures that can be traced back to a region of origin, namely modern-day Turkey, where the Ark of Noah rests? Food for thought.

  • @scotsmanmemag Actually most historians and archaeologist think the proto indo europeans came from the pontic steppe, in southern russia. The anatolia theory is the second option :)

  • @Apeheadthemoejoe Technically speaking, the Celts were a language group that settled most of the European continent, including modern day British Islands, Spain, France and Germany, possibly Scandinavia too. The continental Celts were absorbed by other invading cultures (the Goths, Romans, Mongols, even potentially Greeks, Phoenicians and Carthaginians), until the only areas that are distinctively Celtic now are the British Islands, Britanny, and The Basque region of Spain.

  • this made on the amiga or nintendo ?

  • @AAC2OO8 says the man who listens to triste loco from da hood, maybe types of music sounds crap to you cos your ancestory has no link or roots to anything. a little bit like a mongrel dog lol

  • @markash1971 You are who you are, and it's wrong to act diffrently even on the internet, im an honest countryman who works for a living but i know alot about computers, those 2 things don't always mix but it works for me, i won't act like a 200 pound professional wrestler because im not, i am however a gods fearing countryman who lives by the mandates of my religion and i hope to join the U.S.Marines to serve my country Ila justisca via cala this is the foundation inwhich my faith is built Locke

  • @gamewizerd01 well said friend. i only came here to find some real old english folk tale music.ancient warrior music etc lol . just because i said i was sick of being misled by titles. i started getting abuse. like you said friend i am who i am, and dont act different on net, and not a bully too. abuse seems to be the norm on youtube

  • @AAC2OO8 <--Proof that not all Irish are charming....lol

  • I hate Irish. KISS MY SCOTTISH DICK

  • @Nowalu Uh,...you do realize that we of Scottish ancestry are, by genetics, mostly Irish? :)

I'm both, regardless. Gordon Highlander clan of Scotland, as well as Dempseys and McClains of Ireland are in my ancestry, the closest being the Dempseys, on my mother's side.

  • @celticbattleaxe were of the same great clan the dempseys

  • @gokukevind Really? Wow! Hey cousin ;)

  • @Milrevcom

This is awesome. Thats what. \m/

  • sick of looking for real folk/ ancient warrior music and finding metal fantacy music

  • @markash1971 Well, I got one as close as you can find, and I'm sure you'll loved it :). 'The Lost Song' with Scottish bagpipes - crank up the volume :). That's as ancient as I can find :(, but hey, I feel as though I'm charging into roman ranks with Celtic warriors around me :D.

Bloody good fun, if I do say so myself (yeah, I know it's a pun :) ).

  • @celticbattleaxe cheers mate. ill look it up. cant beat a good tune that gets the warrior restless inside :)

  • @markash1971 :)

    I think you'll LOVE it :D

  • @markash1971 yea same here. when I type in like "Old Viking/Norse/Celtic songs" or something like it I allways end up on crappy videos where hard core metal or neo nazi bands are playing. so tired of it.

  • @markash1971 Do you have any examples of what you're looking for, I'm curious.

  • @markash1971 LOL, this isn't metal. I don't know what it is, but certainly not metal

  • @markash1971 True, real folk is hard to come by. However, from time to time it's possible to find some great sets by Altan, Tannahill Weavers and the like.

  • @markash1971 this song is pretty awesome but its not what i'm looking for either

  • @Helikaon9 May i help composing a new one for you?:)

  • @markash1971 Try "Skyforger - Zobena Dziesma", and you'll find a real, unplugged warrior music.

  • @Lachausis thanks for telling me about them (free thumbs up)

  • @Archmage9078 You're welcome.

  • @Lachausis or Runrig - An Toll Dubh. this celtic warrior song is sooo daisy :/ sorry guys!

  • @markash1971 only medieval music gives that. Try in this direction, it helped me.

I'm also tired of this metal nothing

  • I see what he's doing, making the guitar sound like the 'pipes. wonderful song. *thumbs up*

  • Oh, I think absolutely so.

  • RIDE TO BATTLE. Wait, where's the power outlet? We need synths to strike fear into the hearts of the enemy!

  • where can I buy this song?

  • Love this song. it is so beautiful. I hjave always wanted to learn the Celtic drums. I am learning the African drums now. I am just fasanated with drums of all kinds. I have 5 drums already.. My grandmother is Irish. my dad's side is English. We are related to John Adams the Second President. Not sure about My mom's real side as she was adopted only know my birth grandma was Irish.

  • Im 2nd generation scottish my father grew up in edinburgh and my mum grew up in london so im english and scottish , (BRITISH!!) that is all

  • Inspiring!

  • Nice song!

  • I AM TURKISH I LIKE CELTIC FOREVER CELTIC...

  • Soul of the North...read your history. You're miles off the mark! The celts came from south central europe, up through the continent and finally settled in Northern france, Cornwall, Isle of man and wales. Nothing to do with Viking culture...and before you think about it don't argue with a Viking! It always ends bad!

  • aye see 32 brits dislike this

  • @billywon1

The Welsh, Scots, Cornish and some Irish are British, mate...

and most of the English have celtic ancestors...

  • @TheGravelines1588 about 1/2 of the "English" have celtic ancestry (incl about 8M who are of irish descent - from 19th-20thC immigration), but traditionally almost no celtcs remained in the east, the Home Counties especially - they were anhilated in the 5-6th centuries.

  • OMG this is shit

  • @TheSuperbill99 Justin Bieber is in the other section of youtube, dickwad

  • @TheRandomHoboChannel you ruines the song by mentioning justin beiber

  • @mrxcurrymuncher why because a guitar is used in the music fuck off will you

  • Celts are a culture, not a race, tribe or a specific nation of people. I am a N. American of Scots' descent, but I consider myself to be an American Celt. If you are European in ancestry, you have some Celtic ancestry in that ancient past. The strength of the Celts is their culture, the support they give each other. In these days and times, we should cherish and remember this, for by so doing we help keep this World a better place for those who come after, Our children, the Celts of tomorrow.

  • @Kelt4ever then I'd say I've got a lot of Celtic running in my blood. I am half Irish. Would explain y I am curious about its beliefs..I am drawn to the native american(which I do have some of in my blood lines also)and am told the celtic is very similar to it.

  • @Listens2Spirits True European religion is very similar to the religion of the North Amerindians.

  • @Kelt4ever While everything you was true and very beautiful, you are a bit wrong in one respect. The Celts were the original settlers of Ireland, the name Celt comes from the Greek word keltoi, meaning 'hidden people'. The Greeks traded with Celt Iberians in Spain, who then learned of Hibernia (Eire, or Ireland). I am American of Irish, Scottish, and Welsh descent. I am a Brtittanian and Hibernian, and damn proud of it as well.

  • @IrishIronArmalite Good on ya! :) Or should I say slainte! :) Just a point of correction tho, very few Greeks made it past what's now Gibraltar b/c of the Carthaginians, who dominated the western Mediterranean until the Romans crushed them ... also, I believe the Pictish people, or someone like them (with racial ties to N Spain) were the actual original inhabitants of the British Isles (Ireland esp.), with the Celts coming from Gaul about 3-500BC.

  • @Kelt4ever Amen Brother!!

  • @Kelt4ever Hmm, the Celts were called that by the Greeks, who also calld them Barbarians, but the celts called themselves "Gauls", however much they were divided into warring tribal kingdoms, & had a common language, material culture & religion. Only some Europeans can claim descent from them however (mainly in the W), as they weren't everywhere.Sadly, the gr8 weaknss of the Gauls thru-out time was their/our lack of unity against enemies until it was too late ... "divided you fall" ..

  • @SlaineOz Uhhh... The Gauls were the ancient French.

here's how it breaks down into the general people of those times in the British Isles and Northern Europe.

    Irish=Celt

    British=Breton

    Welsh= Gaeliege (not sure =(

    Scottish= Picts

    French=Gauls

I could go on about this all day, but I won't. The fact is that no not everyone in Europe was a Celt, Gaul, Briton/Breton, or Pict. The names of those people were their's alone, because they all developed their own cultures in the lands they settled.

  • @IrishIronArmalite Ummm, not quite. The Gauls were who the Greeks called "Celtoi", some of whom had migrated east down the Danube, invaded & defeated both Macedonia & the Greeks, and then some crossed to conquer central Anatolia & giving it a (later Romanised) name of "Galatia", the others left to head back W. The Gauls also conquered N Italy & the Etruscans & initially defeatd the Romans, sacking Rome & settling N Italy. They also expanded into Hispania, Germania & MTF ...

  • @IrishIronArmalite Part 2: ...the British Isles. But it was a civilisation of common language, religion and material culture but not govt, & it's believed originated in the Alps (La Tene & Halstatt).By Julius Caesar's time,ALL of the non-Italic peoples of Gallia, Helvetia, and northern italia and Hispania called themselves "Gauls", as did those of S Britain, &, it's believed, Ireland (SE esp.). However, the Picts were a separate civ.,& had been pushd to the extremities ... MTF

  • @IrishIronArmalite Part 3: ... of the British Isles, & only in northern Scotland did they maintain their strength (until the Vikings crushed them in the early middle ages). It's almost certainly from them we get tales of the "Little People" &c.

However, it must be said that the pre-Roman British did collectively refer to themselves as "Britons",but still spoke the same language as their brothers in Gallia (& yes, there were related tribal kingdoms in both lands), & had ... MTF

  • @IrishIronArmalite Part 4: ... a near identical material culture & religion (from what we know). Indeed, the Romans found little difference, except that the Britons used some slightly different terminology, retained use of archaic styles of warfare (eg chariots), & had the hooded cloak as a fave fashion item.

Re the Irish: overwhelmingly they were culturally "Celtic",& again spoke a an understandable tongue to the Britons, but with differences. Also, they called themselves ...MTF

  • @IrishIronArmalite Part 5: Gauls, which by the medieval period had became "Gaels". It needs to be said that racially they're connected to NW France, & they conquered the original inhabitants, who racially prob came from Spain much earlier (DNA evidence supporting the tales). They spoke the insular Goidelic language Gaelige ("Gaelic").

The Bretons were a later group, comprised of Romano-British who fled the collapse of post-Roman Britain into Armorica (which had been ... MTF

  • @IrishIronArmalite Part 6: ... devastated by Aetius c430). Like the other Britons (or "Brythons"), they spoke the insular language "Brythonic", which also later evolved into "Brezhoneg" (Breton), "Kernowek" (Cornish) & "Cymraeg" (Welsh) - the north Brython language of Cumbria & Strathclyde didn't survive long enough to develop into a separate language (their kingdoms were crushed in the 7-10thC).

Re Scotland: from memory, it was divided until the 10thC into the Kingdom ... MTF

  • @IrishIronArmalite Part 7: ... of the Picts (in the N),& the Gaelic Kingdom of Alba (which started in Ayrshire but went on to conquer the British Kingdom of Strathclyde & then the Anglicised E Lowland province of Lothian). The Picts spoke the insular Goidelic language Gaelige,as well as the Scots of Alba (who'd come from NE Ireland in the 6-7thC).The Isles were separate being Norse-influenced (& semi-Norse) until the 13thC.

Sorry for the long post, but I hope that helps

  • Can't get much more Celtic than being Scottish. I love being Scottish. Or technically 4th generation... :(

  • @abc114able Scotland is full of viking descendants AKA Scandinavian blood, The Scots are not 100% Celts... infact according to reports a large percent of you aint Celts...

  • @soulofthenorth the same with Ireland. But I suppose the bloodlines get watered down any way I'm Irish myself

  • @butterslacks109 Oh yes the bloodlines get watered down. I'm a born American, but family-wise, I come from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, England, Germany, and possibly Israel. I say possible because of a break in the family tree, but the name from that side of the family bears a strong similarity to a Jewish title. But over all, I am a Christian, and proud of it.

  • @soulofthenorth I know you may be a troll who gets into a lot of flame wars, but I'm not stupid enough to fall for bullshit. If you flame me back with hate, I'm blocking you. I know the Celts came from Scandinavia and settled in Ireland, Britain, and other parts of the European mainland. But there's a difference between Slavic mainland Celts and Gaelic Celts. The Scots are not 100% Slavic Celts, but they're a good 95% Gaelic Celts. I descended from Gaelic Celts.

  • @abc114able What do you mean 4th generation Scottish? In reality, you are mostly Iberian. The majority of the genetics for Britain crossed over the ice from Iberia. Therefore we are related to Northern Spaniards. Also we are related strongly with people from Brittany. Modern British peoples are ~70% Iberian and ~30% Nordic.

  • @Lkonae Yes my great great great great great grandpa didn't come from Iberia, he came from Coupar Angus, Scotland, making me 4th generation Scottish. Connect the dots, brother.

  • @abc114able Usually when talking about 'generations' i.e. 2nd generation British, it means your grandparents were non-British immigrants. Nonetheless, you may have Scottish ancestry, but those Scots had Iberian ancestry.

  • @Lkonae I don't see why you keep trying to twist my words like that. You use generations in quotes as if the idea is preposterous, and act as if I don't know what I'm talking about. I definitely descended from the Scots, that's a sure fact, and I didn't say that those Scots didn't descend from Iberia. Except, they didn't primarily come from Iberia, they came from all the northern European mainland. Don't try to contradict me on sure facts like that, I don't have time right now for a flame war.

  • @abc114able Actually, if you want to look, there is literal proof that the Celts originated in what is now modern day Turkey, from an area around the Mount Ararat.

  • @abc114able No, I put generations in quotes because you had the definition wrong. I was merely correcting you. I am not denying you descended from the Scots. Now, is where I begin to contradict you. The main stock of all of Britannia were Iberians (there is nothing wrong with being Iberian. Modern Spaniards aren't Iberian). Afterwards, different migrations occurred, one of course, being Nordic immigration. On average, Scots are 70% Iberian, 30% Nordic and ~>1% other.

  • @abc114able Hello, fourth generation. Actually, the way you describe it sounds like you are 7th-8th generation. No matter, I'm fifth generation American, with my Scottish ancestors hailing from North Scotland, from the Gunn clan.

  • @soulofthenorth Icelanders are vikings who stole celtic women in England to settle Iceland--so the germanic tribes which include the norse mixed with celts which made a very explosive mix as the normans which are norse blood mixed with celtic or the swiss whic are alamans with 60% helvetic blood prove--they kicked ass

  • @soulofthenorth Scotland is a melting pot of various cultures, though each people group show up dominate in different areas. The Norsemen settled and mingled with the north, Anglo-Saxons in the south, Irish on the west, and the original Picts and Gaels mingled to oblivion with each. You're right, the bloodlines did get watered down, but the Celtic culture has been preserved in Ireland and Scotland, and remembered in many lands.

  • @mrxcurrymuncher

    i know...
