  • wow. your version is slightly different from mine. if u care to look back at your music score, at bar 8, the right hand part plays that bar alone in my ABRSM grade 4 book. and the last bar were supposed to be an F on right hand and A on left hand.

  • omg thank you! I've been searching for this a long time on youtube! I'm learning it right now :) x

  • wich Sonatina is it? the 12th? that sounds so good!

  • I'm supposed to be doing this for grade 5! I'm screwed!!!

  • dude its a grade 4 piece

  • I know. I've just started it. I'm grade 5. I don't control which pieces they put where. Alright?

  • It depends which music place you're taking the exam for.

  • Im Doing this piece , Grade 4. and i cant make the chords on the left hand sharp. i keep holding them !!! ahh, But well done to you ! Keep It Up ! Awesome playing.

  • Very well played =) Your fingers are very light, when I play this I tend to play the chords with a little too much emphasis but this is really helpful.

    Thank you.

  • What are the final two notes in your piece because I am playing this piece atm and it says the final notes are A and F but it doesnt sound rightt :(

  • Sorry for the late reply! Don't check this much :(

The last two notes for my song is lower E and A, and A + F does sound weird :/

What key is your song in?

  • if u got ur music from a book go back three bars and u would see it changed from treble clef to bass clef

  • I'm not sure. I got mine from the book :)

  • Hey is this easy? And which book did you get this from you played beautifully! And you have inspired me to play it!

  • I got mine copied from the book that my teacher had (shhh!) but if you want to get it, you can easily find it at any music shop, just ask for the Sonatina Op. 27 No. 12 by Dmitri and they should be ahle to find it for you.

  • Did this a few weeks ago for my grade 5. Got 20/22 :D

  • doing it now for my grade 4...standards are getting higher it would seem.

  • this is really awesome. one of my favorite songs to play on piano. something about the melody is so catchy! haha, well you did an awesome job. :]

  • For some incredible Kabalevsky performances (rather heavily modified though), get "The Private Collection vol. 2" with Vladimir Horowitz, from BMG. Also, the 3rd sonata is available from BMG with Horowitz.

  • It's number 18, but your sheet seems to have more notes than mine! the one I have uploaded is simpler at some parts. Do you have a special version?

  • bravo

  • I'm learning Sonatina 12 for grade 7 . . . is it anywhere on Youtube?

  • Ummmm.... I'm not sure O.o Use the search button?

  • i'm doing this song next in my piano book- it seemed kinda confusing... right now i'm doing Toccatina by kabalevsky

  • Awesome! I'm just learning this song actually... I hope I get it to this level :)

  • Pshaww! I'm not that good :( Don't compare me :D

  • ehh

Im not exactly sure what Im having trouble with..

I just perfected Kabalevsky's Toccatina with no trouble

and this Sonatina seems almost the same.

  • Sonatina Op.27 No.18 [Kabelevsky, Dmitri]

    Right?

    Not 12...?

  • I think it's 12. I'm not sure since I don't have the music anymore :)

  • that was really good!

I just got this song for my piano lesson

and its..well lets just say Im having trouble with it ;] lol

  • May I be of assistance? What are you having trouble with? The swing rhythm? Chords?

  • Wow. lol. it's my exam piece for Guildhall Trinity.

  • Any one know where I can find this piece's sheet music for free? I really like this sonatina but have no money to buy the book! Please help out

  • You could buy the book, photo copy the music, then return the book in a day.

    I didn't say anything.

  • i love this tune a lot lol.. it sounds really really familiar but i don't know where i've heard it from when i was younger..but yea i love your playing! the interpretation is well done =)

  • Thank you :)

  • ok will do keep up the great work

  • well done

  • Thanks ^_^ I'm learning Numb on the piano, and I transposed it to the right key, so be back in 2 weeks and listen to it ^_^
