To me, this film was scary, amazing and hypnotizing when I saw it as a young kid.

National Geographic has 3 seasons of a show called "Is It Real" I rented it from Blockbuster Online. There's one episode in one of the seasons that defend and disprove The Hutchison Effect. There are some scientists that achieve the same thing n video camera with fishing string. I started to think that it was all untrue as well. Look up The Hutchison Effect if you dont know what I'm talking about, and just hear to watch the preview for this movie.

this was good , they hint at sailors hiding on nearby farms back then. look at the movie "the keep" close if you get the time

wow...I noticed some of the dialogue is a little different in the clips than the movie. That must have been from earlier cuts, before the final movie was released.
