@JULESRULES9969 JLT cold air with an SCT agressive 93 octane tune, full PYPES or SLP exhaust, throttle body, and some lowering springs. that will add probably about 40 more horsepower with a good tune. the JLT intake alone with a tune will add about 25-30 more hp depending on where you are. sea level you'll get closer to 30.

@brownba1994 the only way you beat them is either from a dig (fwd fails at digs), or you were modded. either that or the cobalt ss drivers cannot drive, or they werent the turbo cobalts. stock vs stock a ss turbo will walk a 3v mustang gt. i personally have walked one that had an intake. and mod for mod the cobalt is faster too. a 200 dollar tune can bring it to 310whp. in a car that weighs a lot less than a mustang.

Car runs great for just mufflers and an intake. 3.73s or 4.10s will really wake your car up dude. Same goes for LT's and O/R X/H pipe. Right now my 06 only has Intake/Tune/3.73s and is on 20s. On my stock 18 in rims i have on the porch it does mid to low 13s all day. That is with an automatic too. My Longtube headers, O/R X and FRPP Stingers will be installed in less than a month. I have to ditch these flowmasters on my car right now, so check back. Nice video.
im pretty sure an ls1 z28 and your car would be pretty damn close. but you might be able to get a car just depends on if the z has good tires and a m6 or a4 and if he can drive it at all.

The mustang always does well with what it has. The bottom end power of a Mustang GT is amazing. I know because I own one. I can outrun much higher classed cars on bottom end. Up top though.... ughhh. :)
um...check your stats again buddy. The Challenger is 376 HP and was tested with a 6 speed and still could not beat the Mustang. It finished third by the way...right where it belongs.
Stock Mustang is 315 HP...up 10 from last year with air induction. Check off the performance package if you buy one!
Mustang beat Camaro SS (426 Hp) and the Challenger (376) HP in Car and Driver this month. Almost identicle 0-60 times with the SS smoking all in top gear 'roll-ons'. Mustang was the only 5 speed.

Car runs great for just mufflers and an intake. 3.73s or 4.10s will really wake your car up dude. Same goes for LT's and O/R X/H pipe. Right now my 06 only has Intake/Tune/3.73s and is on 20s. On my stock 18 in rims i have on the porch it does mid to low 13s all day. That is with an automatic too. My Longtube headers, O/R X and FRPP Stingers will be installed in less than a month. I have to ditch these flowmasters on my car right now, so check back. Nice video.

im pretty sure an ls1 z28 and your car would be pretty damn close. but you might be able to get a car just depends on if the z has good tires and a m6 or a4 and if he can drive it at all.

The mustang always does well with what it has. The bottom end power of a Mustang GT is amazing. I know because I own one. I can outrun much higher classed cars on bottom end. Up top though.... ughhh. :)

um...check your stats again buddy. The Challenger is 376 HP and was tested with a 6 speed and still could not beat the Mustang. It finished third by the way...right where it belongs.

Mustang beat Camaro SS (426 Hp) and the Challenger (376) HP in Car and Driver this month. Almost identicle 0-60 times with the SS smoking all in top gear 'roll-ons'. Mustang was the only 5 speed.
