The first set of grips I bought the store put them on with an air compressor. Me and my brother put his grips on with water and I used water for our tramp bike. Then I used this way for my bike. The grips on my tramp bike and on my brother's bike are still wet after 2 and a half weeks without riding because his chain broke.mine are alright but they move around a bit.So the best way is by air compressor but next time I'm gonna try hairspray.

This is the absolutely best way to do it.

Be sure to wipe down your bars and make sure you grips are clean on the inside. Spray a tiny bit of CRC on the inside and I know what your thinking "wouldn't that give the grips throttle grip and the slips?" the answer is, no. What give grips "Throttle Grips" or "The Slips" is the amount of moisture (or water) inside the grips after riding in the rain or leaving your bike outside for the night. The CRC is water disparent and dries out quickly.

I just use Oury grips, slid 'em on, they don't move, make sure to use small bar caps under them so you don't punch out the ends of the grips as easily, to remove just lift and spary a little window cleaner, slide off and dry them good before you put them back on.
