i have just slept a night in the vaults, it wasnt really that scary, it was sorta fun since i was sleeping in a room below a night club, it was just bump bump bump bump bump all the time till 1:00 am,then nothing, i will be doing it agian but i will fim it and put it on youtube, 8) O.o :)

I take this show as being pure entertainment.Think about it, the noises and stuff being thrown always happens off camera and doors that open are now fully shoen top to bottom.Still it is entertaining and it gives you some info to start with if you wish to do your own research (names, places, dates, etc)

i thought about it, and i never knew that ghosts were supposed to perform before the camera, its not like they see a camera and ask the other ghosts if their hair and make up are ok and if their bum looks big in their pants, before the make a noise or throw something...i give these guys a pat on the back for going into some of those places, i would of wet myself in the car before i even got to a location....cant imagine what i'd do if i saw a ghost....

The rooms were simply forgotten about until they were discovered and excavated, by hand, starting in 1988, by Scottish rugby internationalist, Norrie Rowan and his son Norman Rowan. In 1989 Norrie used these vaults to help Romanian Internationalist rugby player to escape the Romanian Secret Police. Since then they as you know have become a famous tourist attraction. :)

Later the hidden arches were given extra floors for industry. The '120 rooms' were used for businesses and storage until it was abandoned in 1795 -

Edinburgh was builded on top of and town you can go on a tour called marry king close it takes u under grown i have been on the tour 3 times now its so cool and creepy there is no day light there and there is some rooms u cant even go in as the rooms have not been marked as safe yet if u r ever going to go to Edinburgh u should go to marry kings close its amazing .

I've visited the vaults in Edinburgh and these TV programs DEFINITELY "put on a show" for you. The real thing is not scary. It's interesting, for sure, to see how people used to live and the conditions they dealt with, which were more scary and disgusting than the quiet dark leftovers from years ago.
