@agoodm Hiya. This meter recorded loads in a small bedroom to begin with, then we moved, & my new bedroom has a water-filled heating radiator in it, & my electricity usage dropped DRAMATICALLY. In the old house, I used to go through about 300-500kWh/quarter, but in this house ( which is a proper brick-built one! ) my monthly usage is about 20-45 kWh/month, equal to 60-135 kWh/quarter.
Our annual electric usage for the whole house is under 3,000 kWh / year.
@HDXFH I will be carrying out a 0.1 kWh accuracy test on it soon, & expect this instrument to pass. It passed OK back in '98 & again in '07, so five years later, it should pass again....Effortlessly. :-)
@motorbikesrule125 Hiya. These meters are classed as Double Insulated, so therefore don't need an earth wire. In some countries, meters do have metal cases, & do need an earth wire attached to the case. Also, like ChumpsRex said too.
Another thing: Only the phase conductor goes "through" the meter: The two neutrals that go into the terminal block are linked together in a solid block, but having said that, the meter does need a neutral for the voltage coil to operate.
6013 units in 13 years. We use more than that every year :-O

It'd still be accurate, The accuracy magnets Depending on their type should hold their charge for Quite a Long time

Confused why do thay only have two wires does it not have a earth and and another video thought on how u wires these up and nice cat :)

@motorbikesrule125 Earth wire carries no current (under normal use) so doesn't need metering.
