It's going to be nowhere near as good as shadow of the colossus. The poetic element of a vacant land devoid of life other than the colosi was amazing. the sound of the wind and the synchronized orchestra was buetiful. there will never be another game that good.

i think that this is a preqeul to the whole ICO mythos or a possible in-betweenquel that takes place after ICO and before Shadows. but it is the third installment. anybody care to agree or disagree? (not trying to argue just curious about what ya'll think).

I think it'll be the prequel to the other games. In Ico, we questioned why he had horns, Shadow answered it. In Shadow, we wonder who Dormin was. Maybe Guardian will answer this?

I think SOTC was sad because the guy tried so hard to revive his girlfriend or wife and got betrayed at the end. Not becuase the horse almost died. But I still agree though the Horse part was still amazlying sad, that little bastard took you everywhere and helped you killed a few bosses Lol.

Take a look back at SOTC, yes the framerate was choppy and the clipping distance on foreground objects was noticebly bad, but Team ICO managed to push the PS2 to it's absolute limits and achieve an unmatched filmic quality within gameplay a full year before the PS3 came out.

Coupled with their always masterful art design( which in ICO and SOTC helped to conceal graphical flaws), it's a no brainer that The Last Guardian looks this good.

wow this game looks amazing. this is not cgi. i loved ico and shadows of the colossus was absolutely incredible. it seems is as if that youll be that ginormus creatures guardian and prolly be able to ride and control it later in the game. is this the long awaited ico 3. or is this a side project? the last time i heard the installment to ico and shadows was called ico 3: the queen. any verification?

This is 'Ico 3' lol. 'The Queen' was just a sort of rumour that came about before TGS 08.

But I'd say this is definitely ICO 3, seeing as it was previously referred to as "Project Trico". Hope that helps. :D

tonzaton: All you see in this vid is rel Time footage ingame. You have no idea what the PS3 is capable of.

The only reason we havent yet seen so such advanced graphic, it because the programmers arent prepared for the Cell processor. But now they are catching up.

I'm not surprised at all... It doesnt matter to much that the nvidia chip is 4 years. Its how you use the power of the components that matters.

Well no one here works for them, but if the visuals IN-GAME are equal to the quality of these visuals, then its NOT running on a current generation video game console. People over-state what these systems are capable of, the PS3 alone has a graphics chip equal to that of a 4 year old Nvidia chip! yes the systems are powerful, but not powerful enough to run sequences at this quality, without the use of a pre-rendered cinema cutscene. It might run it in 540p but not in 1080p.
