I think you needed more character development. This seems like a last minute idea. I loved the style of it. You should have ran with it more. The way the story was presented they didn't have to be cubes. I could have been "Triangle world" and still would have worked. You should have made a story that reinforced why they are cubes or some cubeness form within the characters.

i can see where you're coming from, but if movies where about giving background, they wouldn't have time for plotlines. i'm thinking that the reason they did cubes was because they're straight forward and proportionate. but to be perfectly honest, asking why they're cubes is kind of like asking why animals can always talk in disney movies.

I really like VFS for their meanings, sometimes, you might have to dig deep for the point of a movie, but simetimes it comes to your mind, just like that. This films great and I think the meaning is not to be a normal 9 till 5 person, that does the same thing every day, but to have fun in life, and enjoy your youth.
