  • My idea: If the lost sheep decidedly won't rejoin the flock, give it 367 more chances, and if it still won't rejoin, give it a big ol' dose of hydrochloric acid and throw it in an incinerator.

  • Love this parable...makes me more determined to pray for the lost and those who have strayed from the flock!

  • The son of man is the lost sheep. For the son of man has to be lifted up.

Lamb of Christ. Book of revelations. You should look for what has been lost.

  • So if you're a bad man and "rejoin" the flock, they're happier than if you're one of the sheep who didn't do anything bad? That's wrong. That's like women who prefer the bad boy, not the strong guy who is dependable.

What if the only "sin" this lost sheep is responsible for is just not "accepting" your specific god? What if the sheep does everything your god wants him to except for the one thing: praising god?

  • @arthurjeremypearson Then he did not follow the first thing that Jesus said sums up the law. Love the lord god with all your mind, body, soul, strength. The second was to love your fellow brothers and sisters like you love yourself. Can you tell me what would be better than loving the creator of all things and then loving all his creation?

  • @GodIsReal101

I need to know someone before I love them. Who is God? What's your best argument for proving he exists? Which exact religious offshoot of Christianity (I assume you're Christian) are you promoting?

To put a fine point on it, what are the consequences of disbelief?

  • I must comment on the interesting discourse btwn Aro & NwFndJoy. NwFndJoy is basically saying that if u look at morals as what u view as okay for some 1 2 do 2 U, then we have the same [basic] morals. If u think it’s OK 2 apply different criteria 2 others than 2 yourself, then u r lying 2 yourself, at least. Aro is saying that if u look at morals as how ppl feel/think about the acceptability [2 themselves] of how they treat other ppl, then we all have very different morals. NwFndJoy is thinking

  • in terms of there being a NECESSITY for an honest, logical BASIS for one’s morals, WHICH APPLIES TO ALL EQUALLY, while Aro is taking essentially the opposite stance, claiming that morality is individualized, even mindless opinion. One insists that, bottom line, we all have a built-in standard (e.g., “rules must be applied justly to all,” tho we may choose 2 not think about it) while the other only looks at what’s happening, i.e., what most ppl 2day c as reality. To the moral relativist,

  • “I can cheat on my wife, but she can’t cheat on me,” is that person’s morals. Immorality is some 1’s morality. Bottom line, from the relativist’s vwpt, morality is meaningless, which is basically what Aro was saying. This obviously leads 2 lawlessness, chaos, & survival of (& gain of riches to) the most devious and brutal. Rule of Law is based upon the traditional view of morality, with the basic premise of justice – i.e., that the laws (& rules of morality) must be applied equally to all.

  • so if being a "good" christian makes you a blind sheep, then i will stay as a unbeliever.

  • @IIIArrow711 “But,” some might say, “our sinfulness serves a good purpose, for it helps people see how righteous God is. Isn’t it unfair, then, for him to punish us?” (This is merely a human point of view.) “But,” someone might still argue, “how can God condemn me as a sinner if my dishonesty highlights his truthfulness and brings him more glory?”

Those who say such things deserve to be condemned.

    Romans 3:5,7,8 (NLT)

  • @newfoundjoy compelling argument, but i stand unpersuaded. you are human first and foremost regardless of race nationality or religion, you do not hold any sort of divine knowledge even though you beleive you do, you and i were born on this Earth with out any knowledge of anything what so ever, and we will die on this Earth only with knowledge that we have accumulated over the years and none of that knowledge is divine, no matter how much we beleive it is

  • @IIIArrow711 It's not my argument (I’m not that smart) it’s from the Bible. I gain alot of insight by what a person chooses to say; are you scared that there might be some people who have had a divine knowledge/ a revelation of God? Is this a source of competition for you? You seem to really want to convince me that i have never had one (in the past) or that i will never have one (in the furture).

  • @newfoundjoy i know it came from the bible and thats why i am not persuaded. is this a source of competition for me? well i do love competition so, yes. am i scared that someone *might* of had a revelation? no i am not. but i can ask many questions too the problem is that those are just questions, they answer nothing but just create more confusion and questions that no one can actually answer. maybe some one has actually talked to their god. but i cant truthfully answer that and neither can you.

  • the reason why your initial comment jumped out at me was because the bible specifically answers it. Its as if Paul was anticipating that 1-day u were going 2 make a statement like that & he wanted u 2 have a response. If you’re not persuaded by the fact that your statement had a response ready 4 u hundreds of years before u made it; then it’s not that u can’t or don’t believe; it’s that u don’t want 2 believe. Thats a different matter all together. God has talked 2 u. u won’t accept

  • @newfoundjoy you beleive in god, and thus you argue that he is real in a objective sense, the thing is that believing will not make your god real. the true problem with this world is that people love to think that they Know the Truth and have seen the light and everyone else Must see the world their way, beleive what they beleive, and do as they say. the people dont follow their ways are *labeled* bad people, sinners, dishonest, atheist. and its this conflict of beliefs is how wars are started.

  • @newfoundjoy its this conflict of beliefs which lead you to believe i am indeed wrong because i contradict your religion, even though me being wrong in your eyes is based off of your beliefs and beliefs are not facts. thats why there are millions of different sets of beliefs out their because its all opinion based, and in your opinion you are right and i am wrong, and god has talked to me but i wont listen, and your religion is the truth. all of that and everything else is just your opinion.

  • @IIIArrow711 so let me ask you this; if someone lies to you do you like it? If someone steals from you; do you like that? if your boy/girl friend cheats on you would you be upset about that?

  • @newfoundjoy if someone did that to me, id get even lol of course i would be upset, but i cant expect people to follow the same morals that i myself follow, and i would not judge them for not doing so either. its their life, let them live theirs and we can live ours. *asking you the same questions*, what would your opinion be newfoundjoy?

  • @IIIArrow711 so are you saying the you believe that there are people out there in the world who like being lied to; stolen from; cheated on etc?

  • @newfoundjoy you missed my point entirely. and not all humans have the same morals and ideology.

  • @IIIArrow711 so if we all have different morals and ideology; are you saying that there are some people in the world who do enjoy getting lied to; stolen from and robbed?

  • @IIIArrow711 opps i mean "stolen from and cheated on etc?"

  • @IIIArrow711 my point is obvious; on the surface it seems that we all have different morals & ideology but when u examine it a little further u can see that no 1 in their right mind enjoys being lied 2, stolen from, cheated on etc.

U won’t be able 2 find 1 person who does.

So in reality we all do have the same morals; even if some of us choose 2 lie, etc & try to justify the wrong things we do; no 1 likes it when it’s done to them and in fact seek for justice/ revenge like you mentioned.

  • @newfoundjoy have you ever contemplated why we have wars, why there are many religions, why there are so many different nations, and cultures, and y we even have politics. its quite clear, each human thinks differently then the next, and each human has their own set of morals, but everyone seems to think that they are the morally justified ones to enforce their morals/way of life on to other people. even their morals and your comment is all *opinion* based. so no, we all have different morals.

  • @IIIArrow711 so if each human thinks differently r u saying that u believe that there r ppl in the world who like being lied 2? U haven't given a clear answer to that. It's kind of a double edged sword isn't it? If u say yes then u r dening what is true; what is fact (no one likes being hurt); like denying that the sun rises in the mourning (it's a true fact; no matter where if the sun is rising it is mourning) But if u say no then u r agreeing with absolute truth & your whole agrument is over.

  • @newfoundjoy well sense everyone has the exact same thoughts and morals as you, tell me, why are there so many different religions and why do they teach different morals then each other? why are there wars? why do we kill each other over petty disagreements? why is there a war on ideology in america? why do society's half way around the world have completly different laws, religion, culture and etc if we all think the same, act the same, and have the same morals? why?

  • @IIIArrow711 for the exact same reason that u won't admit when u r wrong. u have yet 2 answer my question 2 u; that's y ppl have wars. Becuz 1 side won't b honest & they perpetuate the argument. The ball is still in your court; i ask u; if u r honest & of good faith answer the qeustion? do u believe that there r ppl in the world who like & enjoy being lied 2; stolen from & cheated on etc? It's simple yes/no? let your mind be shown; y r you being so vague & setting up pit falls 4 me.

  • @newfoundjoy r there ppl in the world who like to be lied to, and etc. probably not. now this is probably true to an extent, although this may be evidence enough to convince you that we all follow the same personal guidelines/morals, but key word its evidence to "you" and just because you are 100% certain that you are right, its still just your beliefs which is thus just your opinion, on the subject that we follow the same morals. 1/2

  • @newfoundjoy i disagree however because morals is nothing more then an extension of our personal subjective interpretations of what we believe is good, bad, right and wrong. and because its our personal interpretation/thoughts on what we feel is right and wrong it is our opinion on what we feel is right and wrong, and sense its our opinion that means we all have different morals/personal guidelines that we follow, because we all have different opinions regardless of how u want to argue we dont.

  • @IIIArrow711 That was a lot of verbal gymnastics just 2 agree w/ me; but I understand; it’s the pride thing; pride always gets in the way; u don’t want 2 lose face; so U keep the war going; its human nature

U said “probably not”; u agree that u wouldn’t find a group of people let alone 1 person who enjoys getting taken as a fool; that’s not an opinion that is universal which means absolute truth. We all share the same morals.

  • @IIIArrow711 We all have the same morals instinctively; we don’t have 2 collaborate on it; a child feels it just like an elderly person; all races, all social classes, all thru out history we read about it. “Betrayal”

We don’t even have 2 talk about it; we all relate 2 it.

But when we r the 1’s found 2 b wrong we don’t want 2 admit it. That’s where this differ morals u talk about comes in. Ppl justifying themselves like u're doing now; it’s really just an illusion a smoke screen; a cover.

  • @newfoundjoy morals is our take/opinion on whats right and wrong and doing what we beleive to be the right thing to do, yes? so we r both on the same page of what morals are. so to say we all have the same morals is to say we all beleive the same things when it come to right and wrong, and to say that, is to say we all have the same opinions concerning right and wrong. now ask yourself this, do you really think we all have the same opinions, especially on moral based questions like abortion?

  • @IIIArrow711 We do all believe the same thing when it comes 2 some 1 lying 2 us etc. When it’s done 2 us its clear “lying is wrong”. So we do all have the same knowledge (not opinion look up the word conscience in an etymology dictionary; it means con {with} knowledge {science}) when we do something wrong we do it w/ knowledge that it is wrong.

But when we do something wrong we try 2 find a way 2 justify it (lie) even if it’s only 2 ourselves. That answers your question 2 me about abortion.

  • @IIIArrow711 opps; i meant 'con' {with} 'science' {knowledge}

in other words conscience = 'with knowledge'

from Old French. conscience "conscience, innermost thoughts, desires, intentions; feelings" from Latin conscientia "knowledge within oneself, sense of right, a moral sense,"

the source 4 this is found at 'Online etymology dictionary' and it goes on.

  • @IIIArrow711 just type in the word you want to search

  • @IIIArrow711 more specifically it's PRIDE; “Do not love this world nor the things it offers u, 4 when u love the world, u do not have the love of the Father in u. 4 the world offers only a craving 4 physical pleasure, a craving 4 everything we C, & PRIDE in our achievements & possessions. These r not from the Father, but r from this world. & this world is fading away, along w/ everything that people crave. But any 1 who does what pleases God will live forever.” 1 Jn 2:15-17” take care Arrow

  • @IIIArrow711 Patrick Henry huh? One of my favorites; "give me liberty or give me death" I wrote a report on him in elementary school; gotta love the revolutionary war. btw; I'm not trying to flatter you ( i hate when ppl try to do that to me); i just really like patrick henry and your the first person I've ever seen since elementary to acknowledge him

  • @newfoundjoy youve flattered me lol. our forefathers were pretty smart guys, with great quotes too, thats why i love to put some of the better quotes on my channel. fyi this is comment 1 of two

  • @IIIArrow711 cool; cool; just so long as you know that I didn't try to flatter you to win you over; that's what i hate when people do to me. I'm happy to flatter you; we've found common ground.

  • @IIIArrow711 Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! Don’t u realize that u become the slave of whatever u choose 2 obey? u can b a slave 2 sin, which leads 2 death, or u can choose 2 obey God, which leads 2 righteous living. Rom 6:15-16
