I remember to have watched this in cable years ago... man I never knew how to interpret this kind of animation back in the day. Seems to me that this kind of existentialistic/futuristic/dark animation was more frequent some years ago than today. Can somebody recommend more of this kind of animation/projects?

Wow... my sister told me to watch this movie and just... wow. I love how it puts humans into perspective, though. Quite a nice message and collaboration of themes.

That should have read "very few" modern films
its the shying away from existential thought, and more towards the "beginning of the century" globalisation-technology trendites.
PS - i like the screen name... is it from Napalm Death [scum is a favourite album]
