  • Has the Immortal Bard been aired?

  • @Annelf18 No not yet, though I'm excited for when they do! You can bet Stephen's going to be greatly excited for it too.

  • SWEET, I SIT THE BEST WAY 100% OF THE TIME

  • People who complain about things that don't even bother them should be shot, outside the BBC HQ

  • Why wasn't this aired?!

  • @IAPsSMIDSY At the time it was meant to be aired, Clarkson made a joke about shooting protesters and everyone took it seriously. It caused massive controversy and the bbc took the cowards approach and didn't air anything with him on it for a while. All because people can't take a joke.

  • They didn't air this because of the whole protesters comment?

Jesus Christ the BBC are fucking terrified of being moaned at.

All complaints should be put on hold for 15 minutes and charged extortionate rates, that way they can pay the licence fee and us non-give a shitters can get a free ride.

  • BOOF BOOF, BOOF BOOF BOOF, BOOF BOOFOFOFOFO

dun dun dun dun dun dun dun!

  • My dog's not well.

    BOOF! BOOF! BOOF!

    You just have... BOOF!

MY HORSE! It's been in the family...

    BOOF!

  • Why wasn't it aired?

  • What was the venison joke?

  • @aznneozanet In the UK dear can be used to affectionately refer to somebody in conversation i.e "excuse me dear?" and "old dear" is a way to refer to the elderly. Not the politest way but there are worse. And of course deer sounds like dear.

Apparently dear isn't used in that way in the US.

  • @JallenMeodia Heh, no, I just can't hear what he said too well "There's (nanana) venison and they're called old dears"

  • @aznneozanet Oh sorry. It's "They've done it(amalgamated charities) with venison and they're called 'Old dears'."

  • Vets rule :)

  • Alan always knows that nobody knows !

  • @theduderwiggysan He's on every time and is waiting for it! Usually the first general ignorance question!

  • I actually saw a Reliant Regal when I was on holiday in the UK, I know they're famous because of Only Fools and Horses (and their lack of a fourth wheel, obviously...), but I wasn't expecting anyone to actually still drive one :)

  • @MystOfOblivion Someone in my town actually has a yellow one with the company sign on the back.

  • @Daleksaresupreme1 He never 'demanded' anything, he simply joked that the BBC needed an unbiased opinion, and came up with that. He even states right after he said it that it wasn't his opinion, it was there to jokingly balance things out.

  • @MetalGearCherVik i like clarkson just as much as the last man so dont have ago

  • For all who are asking, they decided not to air the episode because Clarkson said he would execute all of the protesters in front of their families. This was when Britain was having that one day strike a few weeks ago. Nonetheless, the XL episode still showed up on the BBC website to watch.

  • @KevinCanada87 Why on earth not air if after they cut that? That execution bit is clearly not in this one, just some innocent vet jokes. By the way, he forgot to mention castration as one of the reasons for vet suicide. 'Cause you love animals, and all you do is go about killing them or cutting their plums off. That's not exactly dogs bollocks :)

  • @soberhippie The "execution" thing was in another show, not QI.

  • @SuperWoodgod Then I don't see any reason for not airing this show. PC gone mad, as the old saying has it. Or was it just because there's Clarkson in it, no matter what he says or does, if it's not Top Gear, it's better to shelf it :)

  • Why wasn't it aired? How did you get it? Are you a certain person who may be from Fulham in a new incarnation? (I've also seen the old username+again.....)

  • So I heard that this episode is what caused BBC to pull your old site. Is that right ?

  • I actually clapped for Alan's victory !

Thanks a lot to share this episode, i was desperatly looking for it !

  • Clarkson is so so boring!

  • The british are now officially as bad as the murkans regarding going apeshit whenever someone utters something halfway controversial on television.

  • @2pacsrevenge well he did dimand the exicution of protesting public sector workers infront of thier familys live on air

  • @Daleksaresupreme1 You clearly haven't seen the whole thing, he did nothing of the sort.

  • @2pacsrevenge On behalf of the British, I apologise for this. We tend to act on the policy of overreacting and genuinely looking like twats as a result.

  • Alan's won a few now. And not putting this on because Clarkson had a bit of a badly timed joke(and maybe went a bit far) that I found a bit funny and I fully supported the strike. I mean honestly what a load of shit some people talk. Auntie did their usual knee-jerk reaction routine and put this show on ice till the scandal dies down. Scandal! That is the scandal, that they still react like this to silly comments made by their stars. I mean who cares what Clarkson says? Not me! Relax people!

  • @seanieboy78 Barely anyone gave a shit about Clarkson, only the usual rabble of halfwits who were looking for any reason to take him to task as they did with Ross and Brand. The overwhelming majority of those who voiced their opinions on Twitter and so forth supported Clarkson even though many of them also supported the protesters. Unfortunately, the most vocal are the militant far-right/far-left (depending who the target is) who always ignore the context. Storm in a teacup.

  • @LoafOfPint So I just watched the episode and expected something awful, but nothing stood out. What did Jeremy Clarkson say that caused it to not be aired? I didn't see anything out of the ordinary .

  • @Chrisfs59 There didn't have to be anything out of the ordinary. Just have Clarkson on, and someone somewhere will find a way to be offended.

  • Some say he's made entirely of plastic, some say that he has a very bad sitting posture. All we know is, he's called the Stig.

  • Such a shame that when Alan finally wins one they don't air it.

  • @Jaxin30993 Alan's won quite a few, actually.

  • Thanks WIWN; you've made my world a better place!!!!

  • that's it..the end of the f******* world...Alan Davis won a game!

  • This episode was so idle they didn't even bother to air it.

  • do you mean to say that this episode will not broadcasted ever?

  • Thanks WIWN! You da man! As we say here in 'merica!

  • Mmhhh...shooting of horses and donkeys, eh? No wonder Aunty got her knickers in a twist about airing the episode. Utterly pointless, but at least it spared us all the woefully inevitable "Clarkson's At It Again/Ban This Sick Filth!" newspaper columnists from dragging out an already lifeless non-story...

  • @SoundtrackSelections they banned it based on something he said in The One Show, not on this episode. It just happened to be bad timing.

  • @SoundtrackSelections Yawn. If you are going to post something, get your facts right. No one cares or asked for you opinion. Yet Clarkson is on TV 'At It Again with his sick filth that clearly people watch.

  • @bencheatle do you want people to speak for you? nope. yet you do it for others with your "no one cares" comment.
