its not "stepped' for a driver , its "tipped" "stepped" is when you put a consecutive higher or lower number shaft in an iron, and tipping a stiff barely makes it stiffer at all, it does not mean you can go around telling ppl you use xstff flex, cuz you of all people dont need it.

I was mainly trying to say he was using the term "stepped" wrong, & if every course pro and club rep ive ever spoken to is wrong, then simply "tipping" a driver does not turn it into an x. Ppl mainly tip to increase accuracy and contact. Ive been studying this stuff to be able to major in PGM in college so I think I have an idea.....
