  • if you crank it up so it's making maximum torque you think you could run about a 500 watt alternator?

  • @KingofComputing

Sometime ago I've hooked it onto a generator and slowly increased the load.

The engine produced a maximum power of 360 Watts at about 1200 rpm.

  • fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap

  • it vibrates like hell...

  • where's the carb/injector, sparkplug??

  • since it's a constant speed running engine

  • how much hp does it produce

  • alexx grossy can you tell me how to make such slow engine or could you sell me this engine

  • You should balance the crankshaft out by glueing some weights to it. It wil run better for sure! Coutnerweights to cancel the vibration.

  • @KiterTMK -- i have to agree. when i was making my solenoid motor, i realized why crankshafts have more weight 180 degrees from the connecting rod. the mass counteracts the up and down motion of the piston and connecting rod.

  • Hello, How does the ignition works ?

  • The feeling you got when you started this one for the first time must have been unbelievable.

  • how many HP has this engine? do you know that?

  • @Gydoko how much hp do you think it is and what is your views on fuel consumption i think it would consume 1 liter of petrol in 5-6 hours

  • im curious is the ignition the same?

  • The engine is so cute!

  • 2 people r jelouse of u that thing is awsome bro

  • wow, what a nicely built engine. Can you get the imbalance under control? It seems to produce too much vibrations.

  • No lubrication?

  • @Isjix that's what that little glass bowl on top of the cylinder is for you put oil in it and it lubricates the cylinder

  • @Isjix can you say what is its power in hp and how much cc it is.

  • HORIZONTAL FINS TRAP HEAT - HOT STAGNANT AIR ACTS AS AN INSULATOR

  • Awesome! Keep it up... wicked!!!!

  • 20ml for an hour? If only cars and trucks used that much. Very cool, great job. Love the smoke stack!

  • beautiful, piece of art, nice worK!

  • thats amazing. how much would you want if i wanted to buy one?

  • nice

  • @fabiojas75 Nice!

  • carb?

  • meh

  • gratulations, you are the first guy who made my cock hard!

  • Hi

    Your engine is a four-stroke?

    How are you doing valves?

Can I do something like that, not having any tools?

Maybe I did not write correctly, because I did not know English and writing through a translator.

  • hey nextime you need to balance the unit because your moment of inertia is off thats why the cars today have those half circles on the shafts to balance the piston

  • very nice workmanship and the inventive skills that I can make machines like that

  • What about oil?

  • how did spark: that is, what, and how refreshing it

  • i want to build one sooo bad...but have no idea how and cant find ANY how tos...any advice??

  • what mode you use the exhaust valve?

and exactly how many teeth are these modes?

    Please answer quickly.

  • @siemian9606 Mode is M 0,5, I have 21 teeth on the small and 42 teeth on the big gear!

  • @Alexgrosy how to oil it?

  • that is so cool!

  • how about a light?

  • How about building a Wankel for motorcyles? Always wondered how it would perform....

  • Very well done, runs like a top !

  • nice. is it 2 stroke?

  • sick so cool

  • What are the engine block/cylinder made of? Aluminum? Steel?

  • nice engine!

  • now all you have to do is put it into a small tractor.

  • try powering it with biogas

  • plöplöplöplöplöplöplöplöplöp...! Lustiger Sound! xD Very nice engine!!!!

  • Runs on fuel?

  • This is an amazing little engine, I'd love to hear it run up to full speed. Do you have a set of plans that you'd be willing to share with someone looking to get into the hobby?

  • hi! Nice engine. Can you tel how do you made it?

  • I am wondering how did you do the ignition? Is the wooden box some kind of homemade CDI-box? Can you give schematics?

  • @CryZtalMovies trembler coil set up is in the box, old fordson tractors used to use a similar thing

  • I vote this as badass, especially with the forced cooling. You dont see many people doing that.

  • O my god! This is pure craftsman nice work!

  • Nice, is the exhaust valve the only one rocking ? how does the intake valve work? and i would LOVE to see a v twin model of this!

  • @bloodreighn vacum in the cylinder draws open the inlet valve allowing the air/fuel to enter the cylinder

  • About how much did that cost? I think if I sell some truck parts I can have about $500 to blow.

  • @indestructableforce the bar stock used for this engine was less than 50 $, all you need is a lathe, a mill, and about 500 hours free time to do all the machining

  • @Alexgrosy you must have a lot of time and expert experiance to be alble to build this!!!

  • @christhetromboneguy no actually not. It's not too hard to make. All you need to know is how an engine works and you need some experience on a lathe and mill, that's all!

  • @Alexgrosy engine part, check...i study that, a lathe and mill are words ive never heard.. im 13 so ive never used one but im gonna be a mechanic cuz thats wat i studying so in the near future i'll probably aquire the skill, but this is pretty cool.. if u would have made a bigger one could it maybe turn an alternator and make it a genorator becuase u said these dont take a lot of gas

  • @Alexgrosy Did you use the same bar stock for everything or did you use differant sizes and did you make the piston and connecting arm or did you buy it and bore the cylinder according to that? Same with the internals such as timing grears, did you make them?

  • @Alexgrosy not really

  • @fabiojas75 SHUT... THE... FUCK... UP!!! JUST POST IT ONE TIME U SHIT AND U DID IT ON OTHER VIDS U 5 YR OLD!

  • @pcblah I feel sorry for you ... I feel sorry for parents that you have ...

  • @fabiojas75 just stop spamming... those justin bievier spam letters made me blow a fuse... thats why i went crazy for a short 5 seconds

  • cool as hell do u think it has enough power for a bike

  • @gaspowerrules no it does not have much power, can be stopped by hand

  • @Alexgrosy what if you made the same thing on a bigger scale that would be more power

  • Would you be able to have a video showing the individual components of this engine?

  • hes just using air i see no 2 stroke smoke comeing out..

  • 2 stroke!

  • @Thetruthishere11 no 4 stroke

  • @Thetruthishere11 4 stroke have valves

  • I wish they sold stuff like this at affordable prices. Great gift idea.

  • @Thetruthishere11 all you need is a small lathe and mill, then you can build your own for peanuts :)

  • What's the output power?

  • Cute

  • beautiful little engine

  • sell it to me

  • How did you make it man?

  • You used a carburetor of a small engine, probably to RC's?

  • @eduardodc3 No the carb is also homemade, the rc carbs would be way too big

  • @Alexgrosy OK... AWESOME...

  • fuckin sweet u need oil

  • @fabio1845 it has plenty of oil!

  • dont u need to to lubricate that

  • put it on a bike!

  • excellent work man, congratulations!

  • it is shiny

  • cool idea:P Stirling engine into a gas engine:)

  • What a cool little engine! Love the noise.

  • i don't get it, how do they not seize?

  • hmm is it possible if u could make a 2 cil?

  • also not too difficult, but I won't make one

  • it would be cool to have one that runs on a small tank of propane

  • wouldn't be too difficult. But anyway, why change to propane when it runs on pure gas like used cars? :)

  • just a thought... propane burns cleaner and more efficient.

this guy i used to work with had an old ford F150 with a big propane tank in the back and on the highway he would switch over to propane because supposedly it ended up cheaper per highway mile. I dont know how the conversion was done all i know was that it was owned by CSX and it used to have train wheels on it for track maintenance, they did the propane conversion because they had propane readily available... it ran great on propane.

  • @Alexgrosy well propane is cheaper, and lots of cars (here in italy) use it and work really fine!

  • @MaurizioM89 This engine uses less than 50 mL of fuel per hour, so I don't really look at the price...

  • Sounds like a Harley Davidson

  • coo

  • how cute to run your fan in summer time and with a litle bicycle generator your radios and led lights laptop maybe great ,,, is the cylinder from a model airplane something

  • sound like an chinese instrument lol

  • how does the air and fuel gets mixed?? carberetor or the intake valve? The air comes trough the intake valve or carberetor?

  • lol 7 degrees is warm! Its -10 in london here and i cant get my flipping 4 strokes on planes turned over!!

  • wot planes / engines u got? i mainly have os

  • Urm..I have a saito 180 on an edge 540 with smoke, a Laser 200V on spitfire and a few other small planes which i started flying with with just the general .46 to .61 2 strokes :/ hate 2 strokes. they are both SC which are shit. for 4 strokes...laser engines all the way, they sound awesome! and YS engines....fuel injected & supercharged! what engines n planes u got??

  • u quite a collection. my friend has a few ys engines (110, 110s 140 and 160) i was goin to get a 110 for my showtime 4d but got put off cos my frends kept spining its prop off so i went with os 120 mk3. - not as powerful but ok. i got a u can do with os 91 fs, arrow tiger giles g300, a trainer from 2001, tai ji, and a coulpe of electrics. my dad has an acrowot tht first fleew in 1995 with an sc 46 (too small i no) and we had to take tht out cos its shot after bout 14 yrs of service. sc is ok

  • Dude....a prop spins off cause the engines flooded!! he has it too rich or is over priming it then!! well the problem i have had with sc engines...is that fucking carb!!! its to do with the rear (remote) needle valve. if you replace it with an ordinary carb with all needles on it, work abslolutely fine! yup that sounds underpowered but it could still fly ok! latest one i want is a moki 400 radial (Y)

  • dude.... the prop spun in the air. it doesnt do it anymore. it was wen he had an aluminium spinner on it and it couldnt handle the power so it used to slip and the engine would rev its absloute tits off then stop. hes using a plastic spinner now and its fine

  • That's awesome.

  • Ist ein 3,5 er MVVS Zylinder

    L.G:

    Lion

  • Zylinder ist selbst gedreht/gefräst, Hubraum = 20 cm³

  • Erstklassige Arbeit

Der Zylinder und Kopf schaut aber nach MVVS aus

    Genial mach weiter so

Diese "Art" von Videos taugen miir

  • I still dont get it how you time the spark!

  • Spark is stet to 5° before TDC. there are mechanical contacts.

  • I mean is that knob on the right and that metal thing on the shaft the timing??

  • thats great! i've been wanting to build a engine my self

  • how the heck u make this

  • Put an excellerator on that thing to see it's true pottential ;). Great work man!

  • any building schematics?

  • does any one notice that the rod to the fly wheel goes one way and reverses or is it just me

  • @monstercameron

its cause its moving really fast so it looks like that

  • @monstercameron It doesn't actually reverse, it's an optical illusion caused by changes in engine speed versus the frame rate of the camera--the same illusion that makes wagon wheels seem to turn backwards in old Western films.

  • very nice workmanship.

    Be proud!

  • nice work !

  • It would be cool to make a little rc tractor for it, It already sounds like like a tractor.

  • very nice work reminds me of the hit and miss pump jacks

  • now make a big one :)

  • Wow! Excellent

  • u should build a little car for that

  • do u run it on 2 stroke or do u put some oil around the cylinder ? cool vid 5 *

  • it's running on pure gasoline and is lubricated by the small drip feed oiler on top of the cylinder!

  • wanna make one for me?

  • What a sweet little motor! Excellent work!

  • Great job !! my hat's off to you it looks' good and not ofensive to the ear's

  • thats just...COOL!!!!!

  • cool i like it...

  • nice!!! where did you get the parts?

  • all parts were made out of bar stock in my home machinery shop

  • oh :p

  • Plans!?!??! thats so ooooo cool!

  • can I buy that off you?????

  • no sorry, this engine is unique and not for sale.

  • fantastic. what plans did you use?

  • If you want to put light load on it you should get some of those wilesco or mamod miniture machine tools. Yo can get working circular saws and pillar drills, generators etc... that are about 10cm tall. My little steam engines of about 18mm bore will power them with ease.

  • u gonna use it for something orjust 4 fun?

  • just for fun!

  • Cool :D

  • can you rev it up?

  • yes, check my other videos!

  • Were can i find plans or a kit?

  • sorry no plans or kits

  • NICE!! I would build one but I don't have a mill, lathe, or barstock. LOL

  • I dont understand the carburation system here...

  • it's a standard ventury type carburation system!

  • oh srry, i didnt see the carb

  • nice system =). Thnx

  • how is the cilinder.piston lubricated?

  • Lubricated by the drip-feed lubricator which sits on top of the cylinder. Get's about 1 drop of oil every minute or so which is much more than it actually needs.

  • badass....strap it on a bicycle

  • i guess its not lubricated right

  • Is that atmospheric type intake valve?
