You have to give her credit, the roast was just not her normal standard of work. It also has to do with crowd preferences, I say her presentation was off. But I like to disregard that, because I've seen her other stuff and she's fantastic :) I'd say don't judge on that one post.

He's right, with good delivery you can always find new material, whereas weak delivery can spoil even the best jokes. She's quick and that's what counts. As for being an Ellen clone, let's wait until she starts doing one-sided phone conversations before accusing her of that. (Besides, Ellen herself borrowed that routine from Bob Newhart. Originality in comedy isn't very important as long as you get the laughs.)

I was shocked to find out she's from San Marcos, TX, which is where I went to school...small town. Who knew? I'm pulling for her but I know Gabriel is extremely funny.
My boyfriend and I can never remember her name, but it works out, because we just say "uhm, what's her name?? oh crap, uhm COATHANGERS!" and instant recall. I love Kristin! Thanks for putting this up :)
