  • This......is.......ACID!!!!!!!!

  • good 2 see you younger guys listen to this stuff...you guys have to admit this stuff is so much better than any of the bullshit they got out now, like guetta can't touch this (too quote mc hammer...God i'm getting old...damn)..i'm just saying late 80's /early 90's house and techno have soul emotion colour stuff today is just bland no emotion no soul

  • @khornisabtch Totally agree.... A lot of stuff today is so over produced! The early house sound was really experimental and this still makes me wanna dance!..... Guetta.... pa! Fabio Paras was my god back then.

  • This brings back sooooo many memories.

  • yes!!!

  • I LOVE GAY DANCE CLUB MUSIC! +XD

  • @imbeatbeatbeat

It aint gay stupid. I aint gay and I listen to alot of this. There's just as much straight people who listen to this as gay much as there's gay people. Use your brain next time.

  • @killerinstinct555 mate ignore them what they dont realise is this is the birth right to the disney dance they all listen to now! im with you bud i drive round listening to this stuff and have been listening to it since 1988 when i was 3 and my mum listened to it

  • @maddog851

  • Lol at H2oRiz getting a rise out of everyone. Funny shit.

  • This is house, not acid.

  • Belgium? HAHAHAHAHAHA! That is THE funniest dumbass comment I have ever read on YouTube. Listen to what H2oRiz says: HOUSE music is an original AMERICAN art form, born in poor Chicago neighborhoods, danced to in the gay and black clubs in Chicago, moved to Detroit, then moved to underground clubs in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami..... It didn't even hit England until the infamous summer of 1988, so don't say that Belgium created it. Stupid.

  • (: THIS IS ACID :)

  • Belgium had a massive scene for dance music two years ahead of the UK, also getting their influence from the US underground. anyone that claims UK invented anything to do with this is barking up the wrong tree entirely. The UK innovators came later on. this is the raw genuine swing beat shit that rocked peoples parties like nothing before. I saw no conflict at the time with being into hardcore punk and acid house. They both came from the same sentiment, fuck the majors this is real music!

  • @bbrexuk When our (belgium) music got picked up by the uk they made Acid House. So ... US underground picked up our (still in belgium) electronic music.

Lets go back to the middle ages ... polyphonic music also comes from here (once more, belgium)

  • @Gehenna71 : Man, aint no damn Acid House come out of Belgium. These young Black Men in Chicago barely heard of Belgium making these tracks in their parents' basements let alone from some Belgium nightclubs! Are you serious? Have you ever been on the South Side of Chicago in 1986/1987? These tracks were just made the within the same week of us hearing them! Many of us knew the producers! 16, 17 and 18 year old brothers. Barely got out of high school, let alone Belgium! Your facts screwed up.

  • So... the San Andreas crowd is representing.

Let me tell you why I'm here, since you all want to tell me how you got here.

I'm here because I don't waste my life playing video games and happen to learn something about music accidently.

I'm not here because of an accident. I research and actively try to find new and good music.

Furthermore, my speakers are better than your speakers.

While you listen to this with your headphones that you got from a happy meal, I use a Hi-Fi Grado PS1000.

    u mad?

  • @H2oRiz No one's mad, everyone just now thinks you're a prick.

  • @fujifour no, everyone is mad, especially you. I'm surprised you could type that without all caps. I think however, you probably got so mad you burst a blood vessel in your head, and now you can't remember where the caps lock or shift button is.

Why don't you just go back to playing san andreas and get your anger out accomplishing nothing in life

  • @H2oRiz Hilarious. Keep trying and one day you might be a witty individual able to construct a coherent argument, I and everyone else here highly doubts that though. p.s I dont play computer games.

  • @H2oRiz ok good for you

  • @H2oRiz I am part of the San Andreas crowd... that videogame put me on to sounds I liked when I was 6 but had no title for back in late 80's... props to Rockstar... u corny

  • geile80er acid

  • Actually Detroit had a shitload going for it in terms of techno

  • house came from britain,we wer raving our cunts out when you guys were listening to grunge etc chicago house my arse

  • @NoPrEJudice201 House came out of Chicago in the very late 70's (1978-79) & early eighties. Get on YouTube and look for songs like "Move Your Body (The House Music Anthem)" by Marshall Jefferson, "Jack Your Body" by Steve "Silk" Hurley, "House Nation" by The House Master Boyzz & Rude Boy O, and "Music is the Key (Basement Key) by JM Silk and you'll hear all the stuff your Eurotrash samples. [I mean "Eurotrash" in the nicest way possible :)]

  • @NoPrEJudice201 What the hell are you talking about mate, im from the uk and i even know house came from the usa!

  • @NoPrEJudice201 WTF are you talking about? Britain got house from Chi-town, Detroit and New York. They didn't invent House. They were simply the first to pick up on it and bring it out world wide. Up until that point the rest of the U.S. pretty much ignored House but after Madonna's Vogue was released and hit huge, the record execs saw dollar signs and stopped ignoring it, fast forward 5 years later and the record execs started killing it.

    I hate those guys.

  • @FURognar I couldnt care do the shuffle,im fuking around but at the end of the day you know where the electronic music came from, now time for a joint and a can shut the fuck up

  • @FURognar execs cash in on our soul. lol. they take what we do and sell it back to us. lol. now there's pirating and you tube as pay back.

  • @FURognar execs cash in on our soul. we create they take.

  • @FURognar Sorry, Made in Belgium.

  • @NoPrEJudice201

half true, house was invented by different countries: brittain, chicago, belgium & holland, look on google for ''peter slaghuis'' if u translate it on google you will have as result: ''peter HITHOUSE'' that guy from holland is the official inventer/producer of house, personal i don't agree with this but IT'S TRUE !! also i like the clubs in london, they keep they style as it was back then ^^ in belgium al of NEWBEAT clubs are closed by drug interceptions like BOCCACCIO

  • @belgiumboy3

don't forget to listen to my ''Boccaccio'' mix on my profile ^^ i really would appreciated if u like it, this club is closed in 1993, but now we have 3 ''boccaccio clubs in belgium as revenge, one of them named ''cocoricco''

  • Studio 54 1988/89

  • House and hot mixing started on WBMX in Chitown in the late 70's and matured in '83. My buddy started the station. NYC had nothing to do with the birth.

  • Im soo tired of all you old fucks telling me how bad the scene is now ect, and how "deep" it used to be.

Please go talk about your pensions or something you all can relate to.

  • There's still some good contemporary House music out there, you just need to look ;-)

  • @Cavaleer I agree with you, I was fortunate enough to be part of the DEEP HOUSE scene when it first hit L.A. and when the kids threw events (or clubs for the night cos it always changed locations) they were in the vein of the DET, CHI, NY style and there was a little beer there but we were all there for the music and to DANCE...and the DJs kept it DEEP!

  • @Ringside92 That's the key- the DJs. If the DJs don't know what they're doing a la Tony Humprhies and all those cats, it dies. Then you have to have people who know how to dance to it. When you get those two it can be special. We gotta bring it back somehow. This shyt these days is beyond pathetic.

  • Happy Dayz. I miss these days.

  • ALL TIME CLASSIC!! CHI-TOWN, DEEPTROIT, NYC, NJ STAND UP.

  • wish i was part of this era, was being born around this time :(

  • @gdunn66 You missed it bro, truly. I feel sorry for kids today. Y'all don't really know how to party. No House, no real hip-hop, no slow dances and quiet storm. It's disgusting what these record labels and TV and radio stations have done. They've destroyed or tried to destroy American culture- fukin parasites. At least the Internets give you a glimpse into the music but it's nothing like JACKIN YOUR BODY!!!!!! haha We PARTIED!!!! No drugs, a little beer, JUST THE MUSIC.

  • @cavaleer - Hah I don't know about "No drugs" ...lol, otherwise it's true. The culture of America unfortunately is of the culture of the consumer and of mass manufacture which also includes music, if here's big money to be made they're a company making it. Thankfully we have the Internet ...for now, until it's taken over too.

  • @geeker4history No, I'm telling you and have heard from others in other parts of the country- HOUSE WAS NOT ABOUT DRUGS. We were not about that. It was about the music and some drinks and dancing. Euros started that drug shyt. American culture is not about consumerism. It's about creativity and passion. The parasites who have owned the labels, radio stations etc are the ones who have ruined our culture. Fortunately House remained pure precisely because it couldn't be made "commercial".

  • @cavaleer lol americans love e

  • @NoPrEJudice201 Not back in '86-'91 in clubs and parties where we were jacking. No need for that dumb shyt when you know how to dance and you have great music. Today's kids have been infested with that shyt AND this idiotic music that the record labels are shitting out of their asses.

Not so in the 80s and early 90s. House was underground- CHI, Det.- and DC to NYC.. Other parts of the country didn't and many don't even know what House music is.

  • @cavaleer Unless you were lucky to get DJ's to come from Detroit and bring their House music to your parties. The black fraternities and sororities hosted many of them back in the mid-90's at huge parties at the student center when I was in college. I had no idea than that it was something special, it was just the music we were all crazy about. Our local black radio station sometimes got a DJ from Detroit in for an evening, as well.

  • @VillageThinking Yeah, I went to school in New England so it was DJs from NYC who introduced me to it. I have a good friend who went to Morehouse and Chicago cats put him on. Chi-town and Deeptroit are foundation cities, even though NYC people think they made it because it technically migrated from NYC. But it didn't become House until CHI. NYC and NJ picked it up and brought their own sound to it. There's still cats making some very good music but the clubs and dancing have disappeared.

  • @cavaleer - Right like you can guarantee that all people dancing or making house music in the past never did drugs. And that wasn't what I was getting at anyway. And if some people did who gives a shit? As long as they aren't hurting others I really could not care less. And are you serious? "American culture is not about consumerism"? Just what backwater town do you live in? America is the consumer capital of the world ever heard of the industrial revolution? We took that idea and refined it!

  • @geeker4history You clearly don't know WTF you're talking about and you clearly didn't read my posts or other posts from PEOPLE WHO WERE THERE in the mid to late 80s and early 90s. You're young and ignorant or maybe old and ignorant. And just because American culture MAKES MONEY doesn't me it's ABOUT MONEY. As I said, you're young and ignorant so carry on....

  • @cavaleer - First of all, I didn't come here to piss on your little nostalgic parade, and no I'm not young or ignorant, only a fool like you would assume so based on a few comments that just so happen to disturb your dreamy eyed vision of the past. Good bye and Go fuck yourself.

  • @geeker4history I apologize. You're OLD and ignorant. Same difference. You said that dumb shyt, not me. So don't get all pussified when someone who was actually there tells you WTF you THINK you're talking about.

  • @cavaleer - You don't know when to shut up do you? I walked away from this how many months ago?

  • excuse me *weeks... don't you have anything better to do?

  • @cavaleer - Oh by the way feel free to carry on, as if the opinion of some Internet nobody *counts* lol. But since this song actually sucks and there's no real conversation going, but a one way trip to ignorance we're done.

  • @geeker4history Still an ignorant dipshit I see....

  • @geeker4history Yeah, tub-o-lards !

  • @geeker4history It's the double-edge sword of being so driven to make money, as we also are as a nation. But what's happened in the last 25 years is on an entirely different level of culture-destruction and warping than anything from the turn of the century until the 70s. Yeah, you had your hustling, explotive managers and some labels but there was little question about true talent shining through. The last 25 has destroyed all semblance of real talent. It's disgusting, lowlife.

  • shittttt i am highhh
