  • You look up so you don't bang your head smart guy

  • What a tool, he is so excited about such a basic move. If he thinks this is a difficult skill I would hate to see Jim play a sport. Crossfit is the biggest waste of time anyone looking to get fit can do, plus it looks really gay.

  • @zalko70 Just a question. You've said in response to other videos regarding some sort of training, that you do Crossfit yourself, and now you bash it? Are you just trolling everyone "nigga?" :D

  • WHY ARE THEY PUTTING HER HANDS IN A DIFFERENT POSITION RELTIVE EACH OTHER?

  • oxygencans4energy helps me get through cross fit class. so i don't feel like puking all the time.

  • tx, great explanation. One question should we reverse the alternating grip so left hand open / right closed vs left closed / right open

  • @fattonysullivan who cares what they call it just bloody do it

  • Liked this stuff, real good explosive moves.

  • those are called commando pull-ups, dawg. "GI Jane", wtf? pince wedito la verga.

  • Good stuff, Greg!

  • good stuff!

  • "Using a grip and skill your going to use everyday." EXACTLY!!, exercises that that make sense! Pretty muscles are just that pretty....give me some useful stuff! Great vid!

  • While I agree with you on the mixed grip - it's only applicable when you're able to reach through an object for an underhand grip.

Practicing crossing obstacles maintaining practical eye-level is a well-used and totally valid skill to use for Law Enforcement and military especially.

  • Gah... cops. Their stupid lingo of "tactical" eye level. Ridiculous.

The "gross motor skill" mixed grip pull? The PULLING itself is a gross motor skill, but alternating some grip isn't.

Someone ask him how "tactical" grabbing anything other than a bar with that mixed grip is; for instance a ledge, fence or out cropping.

    Cops...

  • A trainer (coworker) at my gym broke his finger attempting a jumping pullup with fwd palms, on a multiple handled pullup station. The alternating grip on a bar is so obvious that I feel silly for not thinking of it.

  • I love greg and his energetic approach. thats a sweet routine

  • @E11ama Haha exactly! Loves when he at 1:54 interrupts himself "NICE!!! NICE!!" I'd love to have such an enthusiasm when training. :)
