I wanted to play the game on Gens emulator with my friend online. I used kaillera server, it runs, he can connect, we can play. But for unknown reason, we can't do for example the ice shower with sub-zero, it simply ignores it. I thought this is a problem with the network game (it would be weird, if it was a network play problem), but in normal it also doesn't work! I checked the attacks on gamefaqs for the Genesis version and we did it well... it doesn't work. Same happened with Kega Fusion...

You see, it's easy to insinuate that people are dumb or 'not bright' (which is essentially the same thing), but there's usually more to it than that. But this is the internet, there's no consequence of saying anything really.

@johnmkrs83 SNES version of UMK3 does not announce the fighters names either. You cannot fit that many characters into a 16 bit cartridge without cutting something out. As an aside, Regular MK3 does announce the fighters for genesis.
