At that time Earth will be on the opposite side of the Sun from the other planets, which is the only way you would get a visual alignment that includes Mercury & Venus since they are inner planets.

@SethJBishop I looked at the image of the crop circle, and it does not match any date between when the picture was taken and the end of 2012. For the date you suggested of 12/21/2012 Mars is too far right, Mercury is too far left, and Venus is too far right. In the crop circle photo Mercury, Venus, & Mars are at 3, 10, & 6 o'clock respectively. On that date, placing Earth in the same place as in the photo, they should be at 1, 1, & 9 o'clock.

Not only that (it happens every year) but from that date on, we will look up from below the galactic disc into the middle, instead of from above.

@LPdANDYz Well the Aztec Empire didn't even exist until the 14th century A.D. so you might want to not list them, Before the 14th they were just some wondering groups. And the oldest recorde Native Americans found only go back about 14,300 years so not sure were the 60,000 years come from. And yes I looked up Aztec and Mayan for more solid details, or at least the scientific evidence ones, I left the tin foil hat sites for others.

@candr I listed them because that was the Last empire in power, Holding and updating. The Meshika "Mexican" AKA aztec Known today..was barely introduced in the mid 1800's to make the modern day feel no connection. Ya Europeans WRITE everyones history 2 their own liking for political gain. Almost all tribes of the West u.s.and some in central america are of Aztec decent from Aztlan. Haven't seen anything more then 3200 B.C.E. agreed by historians and scientist, there are cave paintings go back to 35,000 B.C.E. yet you have found somthing twice as old. @LPdANDYz Whats going to happen is the next calendar starts and nothing more, I've read and studied the calendars of most of the civilizations for the past 50 or 60 years, very interesting in themselves. Unfortunately the tin foil hat club has wandered in and decided there was more to it then there really was. I'd rather take science and history then pseudoscience and pop-culture any day. Gravity and magnatism is what keeps our planets in alignment right? and each planet keeps all the others in sequence with its cycle. common sence will tell you that even a 1/2 alignment can cause something unmistakeable. not necessarily bad but different.thats alot of mass on one side of the solar system leaving alot of open space on the other.look at the shifting of the poles.its happening. i believe that the planets align like a clock in space that opens a door for mankind

@28dimitri Two of the biggest players in a planetary alignment would be Jupiter & Saturn since they are the 2 biggest planets. They will not be aligned until 2020, Oct 30th. Ironically though, Jupiter & Saturn will be in conjunction Dec. 21st, 2020.

its the wrong way to look at it..it was 2011 in may all planets alignments,and its not that thay all is on one big line. a planet alignment is when 3 planet alignment(or more) the sun dont hav to be in the alignment..so when thay say all planets alignment,its in 3 or 4 alignments...it happen sometime..srry my bad english....peace to all

@chavcentral1 The planets do not align or arrange themselves in the same way from year to year. Imagine the planets as hands on a clock, but this clock has 8 hands. Instead of a minute & hour hand, imagine the small hand goes around every 0.24 years, the next hand 0.62 years, the third hand goes around once a year, the fourth 1.88 years, fifth 11.86 years, sixth 29.46 years, then 84.01 years, and 164.8 years. Imagine how long it would take to get all 8 hands to line up.

Wow, since you put in ALL CAPS, it must be true. Can you see "Planet X"? Where is it? Because I can see Jupiter, and Saturn, etc... and they aren't causing any problems with Earth. Planet X must be either very small, or very far away, or maybe it doesn't exist. BTW, if it did exist, even my amateur astronomy friends would have found and reported it by now, in which case it would have an official designation, not Planet X.

Actually Mercury rises 7 degrees above and below the ecliptic several times a year. The planets are not on the ecliptic except at their nodes.
