  • It is what it is.....young kids learning. Everyone starts somewhere!

  • At 5:50 that was the worse about face ever

  • lol MOST EPIC DRILL I"VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE! YOU GUYS ARE SO MUCH BETTER THAN USAF DRILL TEAM. lol seriously guys, you suck.

  • wow that was horrible

  • This was really awful. I'm just gonna say now. Theres no creativity whatsoever, all your moves were just too simple to the point where it got boring. y'all werent sharp at all with your moves, and it was just the same shit over and over again. When it comes to drill, you want the crowd to feel excited when they watch a drill routine. You want to do moves that make them go "wow" and not "I can do that in my sleep"

  • look at the guy in the back right after the turn!!!

  • im sorry but you guys need to preactice aaalllloooootttt more

  • hahaha this is amazingly hilarious. It's worse then my white hat flight's performance from HGA.

  • LOL

  • the guy in the back was terrible he doesnt deserve to be on the team

  • thats not honor guard thats just crappy color guard

  • you gies cant call yourself honor guards men if your not perfect you tried but not the honor guard way

  • i think thats here in conneticut

  • Last guy was off step walking in, did an okay job covering it up...

He was fast at times, slow at times and because he was on the end, you noticed it a lot..

It got a little sloppy, stop the secondary movements! XD

But other than a few things, it would have been good if it was sharper and cleaner.

  • that really... wasn't good.

  • that one cadet wasnt even picking his feet up high enough at mark time

  • fail at the highest caliber thats not even honor guard there not in the honor guard uniform

  • THat is absolutely horrible!

  • OMG! EPIC FAIL! Not even your uniforms are right.. Try using boot straps

  • ...yeah, that's not honor guard...

  • did u notice3 out of the 5 are officers? n the srill suck...im in color guard and our commander would KILL us if we did that badly...nice spins though

  • this must be colorguard they are not in honor guard uniform they arnt whereing service caps or jackets or the silver cord

  • they are wearing the silver chord and thers two honor guard uniforms. they are in uniform they just suck

  • A little off but cool

    PCR-NV-801

  • Wow, epic fail.

I"m on my squadrons Honor Guard team and watching this makes me want to barf.

    C/SrA Miller

    Starbase Comp. Squadron

  • i couldnt agree more sergeant. i am in the ajrotc as a corporal and i am the leading drill rifle spinner on the team. i had to coach a second year cadet on how to spin a rifle. i even made up my own drill routine for our veterans day assembly and we had almost 2 and a half months of practice to get it.

  • Wow, i hate to say it, but i would be embarrased to call them MY drill squad.

The routine itself looks quite good, but the squad is all over the place. If i didn't know any better, i'd say they were probibly given the routine a week or so before this video.

As a Ceremonial Drill Squad Commander myself, i wouldnt have dreamt putting this squad infront of anyone as they are. they need a hell of a lot of practice, half of them don't know what they're doing.

    Flight Sergeant,

    Air Training Corps

  • I like your drill routine. A bit more practice to really nail that down, and you guys would be pretty awesome. keep up the good work.

    Shawn Warneke, Capt., CAP.

    St Cloud Composite Squadron

  • i dont have any cridicisam yet

    C/AB,BUSCH

  • ahhhh... I saw some "mess-ups" in their. You guys should practice alot more. Some of you guys weren't even doing it together.

  • wowowowowow, our honor guard is sooooo much better. look at NCCS cap honor guard

  • could be better but its not the worst..

  • The cadets could do some of the drill pretty well individually, but that isn't the point of an Honor Guard. You need to do it TOGETHER, and in sync. That's why white hats aren't taught advanced rifle drill, but the red hats, who have already had 2 years of practice at being in step are. Nice try.

    C/CMSgt Robertson, NV

  • Robertson!!!! Yeah endeavor flight lol message me

  • ok, wow. umm, if your going to pass off as part of the HG, please respect the HG and atleast wear the HG uniform, all of it. second, the movements were of white hat caliber and a new member to the HG at that. but i can say i have seen worse so your not the worst but not the best, keep working on it. good luck

    C/1Lt Hill

    GAWG Honor Guard

  • if they all were in step and on time with one another it would be a great performance... Use your peripheral vision.. it helps alot.. and what was with the mark time..one of the cadets was only lifting his heels 2 inches off the ground

  • I think I can tell who the airman basic is lol

  • Add in some commands and heel clisking, maybe pin your arms while spinning, and maybe try to stay in step. Keep on working on it.

    c/2nd LT. Goodson

    AFJROTC

  • Wow that was amazing!! Other than in the beginning where the back guy was outta step it was outstanding!!!

    C/CMsgt Colvin IA wing

  • I like the routine overall, but I do have some pointers. First off Not everyone's the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, I would recommend you use some commands like the clicking of the heels or something to that effect. Second In my opinion the show was too "ho hum" if you will, People want to see something that catches the eye, not a bunch of facing movements... And always remember you're working with civilians not trained military personel.

    Semper-Vigilans

    C/TSgt. McCarn

  • Hmm...cadet in back was off step in the beginning. One cadet seemed to be a little later than the others, but thay may have been intentional. I dunno. Either way, better than me. I'm not even in my squadron's drill team. Not that we have one, though...I think they're trying to get one started, though. Might as well sign up.

    -C/SrA Hamilton

  • i was there. delta flight honor cadet.

  • I was there too. Not cool enough for honor cadet

  • honor guard can't even stay on step...

  • you cant tell they're using the light (3.5lb) rifles. our highschool drill team uses the 9lb ones, and we'd definately own them.

  • well your highschool team isnt trained to do 2types of rifle drill and a military funeral in 2 weeks. but you do have my respect for using the 9 pound rifles. my baby is a 9 pound 8 ounce replica of the M1 garand and shes been faithful to me for 2 years but i know how hard they are to master.

  • They look like they are off to a good start. They need to work on timing, and the Mark Time needs to be a lot higher. But, for a HG that is just starting out, it's looking good.

  • i do believe the drill manual states that the heels only come 4 inches off of the ground at mark time

  • lift the legs higher at mark time...

  • the cadet in that back was wayyyyy off step!
