After we installed the turbo the software at the time was unable to run launch control, however we have now taken the vehcile from a stage I to Stage III turbo with software that allows the launch control to work. We are rerunning the car at the track tonight. We are hoping to run in the upper 11's.
$41,999 is our cost on the vehicle and what I am willing to sell it for. The vehicle has approximately 4,000 miles on it that either myself or the folks from C2 motorsports have put on it.
Actually the time does not start until the car moves. As far as launch control is concerned. It does not work the same with the turbo as it did when the vehicle was stock. Remember this race was at 6000 ft so the times reflect that.
not the greatest launch from the looks of it... get that 60 down and you should make some better numbers. Quite the difference in times between stock and turbo..
That's great! What kind of difference does this make vs. sea-level? In other words, is there some type of "formula" for the difference in sea-level/conditions?
Well at sea level bolth would have improved performance because there is more oxygen there, but you would notice it more in the stock R32 as it is naturally aspirated where as the turbo R32 is beeing forced air. I would say the difference would be about 6/10's of a second (6 car lenghts) for the Stock one
what was the time of the stock R32?

I would expect more from 300 whp... from the trap speed, he should be running faster times. Did the driver use launch control????

The track is at 6,000 ft not sea level!

what kind of cr*p is that. a stock r32 will do quater-mile around 14.5, not 16.32. this is b/s.

Curious as to what this would run at sea-level.
