  • Nice editing on the video.

  • Sexy song, Sexy man.

  • can't explaine this 4 life sorry can't spell right now drunk but this is my life bruce lee branden lee all my love if u don;'t know by know

  • @Graffitti74 YES

  • NO ONE OWNS THE CROW.

  • Comment removed

  • You don't own The Crow?... Why? No house is awesome without a copy of The Crow on the shelf.

Brandon Lee is one of the few people that can pull off the goth look without looking like a complete twat... Which is a hard thing to pull off.

  • @Sovvolf He means he doesn't own the copyrights to it, doofus LOL. He obviously has a copy of the film or he wouldn't have been able to make this video.

  • @liasonswithlions Yeah :) I knew that, I was just being a smart arsed twat :D. Though I stand by my statement, the DVD shelf is empty without a copy.

  • @Sovvolf good point

  • is it true that the guy in crow got shot by a real shotgun blast and died?

  • @samsonpker Sadly it is true. :(

  • @samsonpker: Not a shotgun it was a handgun and it was supposed to be blank but the prop guy didn't set up the blank up properly. He got shot in the stomach and it went thru his back... and the rest is history.

  • @samsonpker Yes, sadly. During the huge gunfight at the bad guy's club, one of the extras was handed a gun loaded with actual rifled slugs instead of blanks and he shot Brandon Lee and killed him. He stopped acting because of it, since Brandon was a lot like Viggo Mortensen(Aragorn) and went out of his way to treat everyone on set, even the extras, kindly. He brought everybody coffee and doughnuts every morning to give you an idea.

  • Nice tribute.

  • Fucking Awsome Movie And Song!!!

  • One of the best soundtracks ever ;-)

  • Amazing movie, a movie like this does not need a remake they're going to butcher a classic.

  • i loved this film and the sound track...

  • i fucking love this film, seen it so many times, fantastic song too.

  • Is it so wrong that I prefer this NIN cover to the original Joy Division version?

    Trent Reznor ftw

  • @booglespud no its not wrong, bands and artists from every genre are cover bands to start anyway, even elvis and the beatles to black sabbath then metallica and korn and everyband inbetween. heres a for instance alien ant farm has only one hit to my knowledge and its a cover.

  • Unforgetable movie..amazing Brandon..Lovely song...We miss you, Brandon

  • Just discovered that this is a cover after watching 'Control'. R.I.P Ian Curtis.

  • GREETINGS AUS BUDAPEST EUROPA

  • i am obsessed with this movie right now. OBSESSED.

  • @Suprapersonality Whatt?

  • I agree...with Bradley Cooper! No Thank you! P.S. this is my ring tone. How cool, Love me some Tent Reznoe!

  • Man this movie and song are amazing. @M6601 did you edit the video yourself ? If so not a bad job.

  • Beautiful nostalgia followed by a dull pain.

  • Yes but can YOU visit his grave any time you want? I can. Seattle fucking owns, bitches.

  • I wouldn't enjoy a remake because it would cheapen Brandon's contribution and for that this should be off limits. So Mote It Be.

  • for those who say they should make a remake to this movie can suck my INVISIBLE DICK! we all know it wasn't complete but they made a hell of a fantastic job doing it! brandon lee forever!!!! I love this song too even if it isn't joy division

  • muy buena pelicula me trae muy buenos recuerdos

  • The crow was raped to extinction by the trashy sequels and TV show. I'm 50/50 on a remake. The only way it can be good is if serious hardcore fans are in charge, and not a round table of execs and suits trying to target it to the PG-13 crowd. Get an eager hungry indy-film director out to prove himself, and new/unknown actors cast, give the comic creators 100% control over the script. t'll be their big break and they'll put out more effort than those who are already established in the industry.

  • @jommygemini FUCK YEAH!!

  • no-one could ever do a better job than what brandon lee did, you could never improve on this masterpiece of a movie

  • Joy division re.make

  • love this song and the movie

  • nah. Don't like it.

  • AWESOME TUNE!

  • I can't decide whether I love this version or the Joy Division original more;different energy to each, but equally haunting. I was about 21 when this came out, and only 9 or 10 during Joy Division's career, which I can only enjoy in retrospect. but the whole atmosphere of that year, movie and soundtrack will stick with me forever.

  • Sorry if I sound a bit out of the world...but...ARE THEY SERIOUSLY THINKING TO REMAKE THE MOVIE? WHO? and especially WHY?

  • rest in peace..

  • This movie was awesome and NIN rules, they did a good job covering a classic from Joy Division!

    RIP Brandon Lee.

    RIP Ian Curtis.

  • I wonder if movie makers know the term "If it's not broken DON'T fix it"

  • It's a good cover, but it's no Joy Division

  • @666monkeyboy: i can agree to this, but honestly, the clarity of the instruments and the style Reznor sings it...i think it's at least a tie between this and the original.

  • @666monkeyboy 'tis a fine barn.....but 'tis no pool

    DO'ETH!

  • @666monkeyboy Yeah i have to not agree with you on that. I think they do a way better version.

  • @666monkeyboy it's better.

  • @TheNineinchsnails

Alex Proyas the director sucks? really? REALLY?

I think you might want to re-evaluate that statement. As for the Crows missing polish, oh I don't know might it have been something to do with the fact Brandon Lee star of the film died three quarters of the way through principal photography and wasn't available for re-shoots. The internet is full of information try reading some of it before making ill judged comments on subjects you clearly know very little about.

  • In my opinion, had he lived, Brandon would have been great as Neo in the Matrix.

  • @Graffitti74 dont ever compare the crow to the matrix..

  • @nshamas you are absolutely right! never thought of it till i read your comment. Totally! Brandon is missed dearly!!!!

  • @nshamas there is a slight place for comparison - i mean, people keep comparing The Matrix with Dark City which was directed by Alex Proyas, director of The Crow. so it's not incomprehensible.

  • @Graffitti74 hell yea

  • @Graffitti74 he might have played Neo

  • @Graffitti74 Wow....great insight. He would have been brilliant. Such a shame he was robbed.

  • @Graffitti74 Probably even better.

  • @Graffitti74 This is the most correct statement I have ever read.

  • @Graffitti74 Brandon would have been great in a lot of movies, he outclassed so many male actors least of which was Keanu Reeves.

  • @Graffitti74 i think he'd be gr8 as the punisher

  • @Graffitti74: I wish I had a' hot time machine' I would save him and bring him to the future, and he would have been fawesome Neo.

  • @Graffitti74 Abso-friggin-lutely.

  • this isone of y favorite movies ive watched for so many years since i was wee little just the story behind it and everything is awesome i just wish they wouldnt remake it but they are so greedy and they have no imaginations they cant come up with anything else what a bunch of lames

  • Ce film est d'une beauté... et une BOF exquise!

  • you need to watch the whole flipping movie Lameverything. You cant judge this movie within the first 20 minutes.

  • classic movie classic soundtrack! u had to be there in 94......

  • I don't wont be hater but I tried to watch this move because I love movies of the 90ties but I turned off this one after 20 minutes. At the beginning, no logic, no explanation why is he being raisen, he cannot be killed so there is no suspense. And Why the fuck after being brought from dead he suddenly knows kung fu? Could someone say something that can change my mind so I can watch the whole thing?

  • @Iameverything. Well because you turned it off after 20 mins. you missed the reason why we all like it. Just go watch the rest.

  • @Iameverything you have to watch the movie you should know the reason he is being brought back for revenge and he knows how to fight because he pretty much a ghost and hes so clever to know whats going on because of the crow watch the movie its so amazing

  • @Iameverything it's a comic story dude...like any other comic stories...there is no logic....so please try n enjoy this amazing movie!!!!!!!!!

  • Brandon Lee, the Heath Ledger of the 90's

  • nine inch nails was a perfect addition to the soundtrack :p

  • I absolutely adore JD and I think this is the best song they've ever done. NIN did a great job of covering this song.

  • The original from Joy Division is better.

  • @claudebasel nah. but then again i might be too young for Joy Division

  • I wish i could go back in time to get that same thrills i got when i first watched this movie

  • This is perfection..the movie ..the soundtrack end everything else. Everything marked me so much in this movie when i was younger that i could not imagine a better version of it now. The remake will definitely not match the original ever.

  • I love NIN, but whoever uploaded this video should have at least mentioned that this is a cover of a Joy Division song.

  • remake? That is sad news. Stop with the remakes already. I never got to see the sequel of Mario Bros. , how about The Death Gate cycle-weiss/Hickman? Andrew Davidson's novel-The Gargoyle could be a great film. I picked up a novel called- The Bells, that sounds like it would make a good film. Black Sun Rising?City of Dreams & Nightmare, Little Gods-Tim Pratt. Light-Harrison. Hellboy 3!

  • @Rinjingin7 YES! The Gargoyle (by Andrew Davidson) was a spectacular novel, especially for it being his first one. I was definately impressed. Making it into a film would for sure put his name out there. ANYONE WHO READS THIS CHECK IT OUT

  • Played this in Denver at the last show. Never heard him play it live. Damn that was an awesome show.

  • este grupo me gusta a pesar de que no lo escucho mucho =P

y obvio mas con la peli me gusta mash xD .. en tu memoria brandon =)

  • rest in pease brandon

  • im a joy division fan and im sorry but i like this version better

  • NO REMAKE PLEASE!!!!!!!! BOYCOTT THE REMAKE/REBOOT!!! RE-RELEASE THE FILM INSTEAD....well if it got re-leased I'd go see it since I didn't see it on the big screen back in 1994. It be nice if it was re-leased in HD that they put on the BD format.

  • @kallenlover99 i agree. saw it dozens of times on the big screen. would go see it again...................

  • @kjhuffman1 yea even a one night showing of it re-lease is a trillion times better in a remake/reboot...

  • @kallenlover99 *then, sorry typo

  • I love this song, I could imagine it reminds me of Joy Division in its style.

  • ill only watch a remake if heath ledger plays eric

  • I never knew this was a cover until I watched Control last night - I love this song.

And yeah, WTF are they talking about remaking this movie - you can't possibly make it better than it was.

  • @trooperJac Not to mention how horrible the sequels got as they made a new one. The second one was decent, but past that, blech.

  • @trooperJac They could never surpass the movie, which is obvious. They couldn't ever come close to the soundtrack, either.

  • @trooperJac, it's not the nature of the industry to make things better, just to make more money...silly goose...

  • @trooperJac the movie wasnt even finished when they released it the movie is fucked and the middle of the movie was shot after brandon lees death so yea i think they can remake it and itd do better

  • @trooperJac They said that about Tim Burton's original Batman. The original will always be a classic. A reboot will never take that away.... and potentially make more fans of the original!

  • back for my daily dose rawrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!!!

  • nice job on the video.

  • need to make a ringtone of this

  • he probably was really grateful to do a cover of a band that influenced him.

If he didn't like joy division and used their song I would >O

  • If they keep calling them, block them? D:

  • okok to be nice. HOmmage to great musicianship from great musician. there we go that settles it.

  • joy division plagiarism blah

  • isnt this fucking joy division? lol

  • Check this out: Search for Puscifer - The Rapture and put it at 5:00 or so. They sound pretty much alike...

  • NO REMAKE PLEASE!!

  • @rumble68gt especially not with bradley cooper of all people....

  • I like trents version best .. no disrepect I also like Joy Division version.. the difference is for over 15 years i thought this was trents from the crow soundtrack.. I always give more credit to the creator.. and I always will but this Version is the one I relate to more from years of exposure.. I learned of Joy Division afer Donnie Darko soundtrack with Love will Tear Us Apart.. also Epic song

  • Nowhere near as good as joy division, but it's fucking AWESOME.

  • @lvivboi I think NIN verson is better, taking out what each name means and so, just pure music and nothing else. However, i can understand your point :)

  • fucking amazing xxxxxxxxxx

  • It's so Joy Division, but it's also so good!

  • I agree with you.

  • de mis peliculas favoritas

  • R.I.P Brandon Lee (1965-1993)

  • Nine Inch Nails always have such good riffs, but Trent just can't sing... =/

  • @eleshar83 Psh, riffs? Trent is the only member of the band, and he does most of his stuff electronically. Plus I bet you couldn't sing any better than he could, so don't hate

  • @cainmartel - electronically or not, riffs are still riffs. And you'd most certainly lose your bet.

And I'm not hating, I'm just making a comment =)

  • @eleshar83 lol everyone is entitled to their opinion, but trent has a high vocal range and just tends to use harsh vocals to get his point across. his singing isn't as bad as you think :P

  • @eleshar83 just like your mother can't suck dick. You should have been a nut in her throat, not a nut in her womb...bitch.

  • @coldstaind91 - oh, which one of your two dad's told you that?

  • i love this movie !!!! R.I.P Brandon Lee

  • I will always love this movie and this man ;( RIP BRANDON....

  • Why the Fuck are they going to do a reboot of this already perfected Movie?

  • @filmnoir67 If they can remake Footloose anything is possible with remakes...hollywood sucks...

  • @filmnoir67 Cos there are some desperate capitalist bastards out there. :/ However who knows? They might make it a good one and make some sequels that are (unlike the last lot) a complete load of shite! This one will always stand up as a great film though for many years to come.

  • Comment removed

  • @filmnoir67 'Cause Hollywood's a cheap whore...anything for a buck. :(

Brandon's the ONLY Crow and Bruce Lee's the ONLY Kato!

  • @filmnoir67 - Yea, and their going to use Mark Wahlberg as the lead?! Personally, I don't think he is a horrible actor but I don't feel that he has the range to handle such an emotional role. Now, Jim Caviezel would do a killer job....

  • @filmnoir67

    More money.

  • @gombie I was just about to say that. :D

  • @filmnoir67 i heard there not even going to try to make like the old one i doubt it in going to live up to the old ones

  • @filmnoir67 they should remake shitty movies and make them good and leave masterpieces alone

  • @filmnoir67 if they could have remade it with the original cast, I think it could be done. It seemed to not be made with enough polish. It didnt seem like a serious film. Some of the actors were just terrible. The film was also shot on shideo for the most part. So the director in my eyes sucked.

  • @filmnoir67 Because Bastard Hollywood doesnt not have that creative, imaginative, original mind anymore. and producers thinking that they can huge bank on a movie that was already successful and disrespecting the fans of the original just to make money.

  • @Aflex138 Totally agree. And you cannot remake or reproduce an ERA just by retreading a feature. The joy of the Crow movie and soundtack draws its force from its own time--that particular cocatenation of musical and cultural forces that came together in '94, the year I turned 21 and came to fully realize I was HUMAN. Brandon Lee had a not insignificant role in that process. Now Hollywood wants to crap all over all of that. Thanks a bunch, a-Holes!

  • This is my favourite move of all-time. Other films have briefly come close, but none of them have stuck in my mind like The Crow. Incredible soundtrack, great direction and one of the most hauntingly beautiful love stories of all-time.

  • fantastic movie indeed !!! remake ??? you dont ask an amateur painter to make another NIGHT WATCH like VAN GOGH did ???

  • such joy; too many divided. too many uniformed. regardless, a perfect remake.

  • Your so right vivamp

  • there will NEVER be another Eric Draven!!! R.I.P. Brandon

  • wait they remaking this movie, why? leave it alone, the other crow movies sucked ass! i know they did a tv show, even that kinda sucked. leave this movie alone...it's Brandon Lee's final movie. Really, it's almost like remaking Enter the Dragon, you just can't do that.

  • Wait, they're doing a remake? What the fuck?

  • To this day, I still cannot get over Brandon Lee's death!! It saddens me anytime I hear a song from this soundtrack, or see movie clips of "The Crow"! This movie is Brandon Lee's legacy and should never be remade....ever! Best movie of all time!! But it does put a smile on my face to come here and see how many peoples lives Brandon touched! Truely amazing! Brandon Lee will forever be remembered!

  • They have no reason to remake the Crow. If it were a completely different storyline from another graphic novel (there've been different incarnations when Draven's had different intentions) then maybe, but it won't compare in the very slightest to the original. As Sunflower52987 said, the song and movie take me back to a place and time... And that's why I cherish it. It ties in with so many memories of when I was growing up, and hit a pivotal point in great music and indie cinema.

  • finally watched this movie for the first time last night and I loved it! It should just be left alone, a sequel would be pointless and somewhat disrespectful to Brandon Lee. at least I think

  • amazing how a song the mood and essence of the movie...

Nine Inch Nails song perfectly blended into the film

  • @NosterCoster Nine Inch Nails "Cover" :)

  • Yes, please don't remake The Crow!!!!!

  • RIP Brandon Lee

  • I love this movie, my favorite all time. so deep. this song is one of my favs too. anyone else notice that the best NiN is found on soundtracks? RIP Brandon Lee

  • badkitty1969 Welcome to Hollywood the home of the whores!!!

  • I think this is a rare case where the song trumps the movie it's associated with. That's a big statement considering Bruce Lee's son died on the set during filming - yet, the song carries on. No disrespect to Brandon - but this cover song (I know the history) actually trumps the original and overshadows the tragedy of the film it soundtracks. Now, that's a classic song. A sonic moment of time that defines an era; defines a genre; defines a place in time and no one can take that away.

  • Brandon's performance shares a strong resemblance with Heath Ledger's in the DK. The Crow and NIN...man...they don't make it like this anymore. Reznor got an Oscar for the Social Facefuck, can you fuckin believe that...

  • Reboot of the Crow. Their kidding right? I mean they couldn't be that pathetic and out of ideas.

  • Bellissimo ;-)

  • RIP Brandon Lee, no one can ever replace him as the Crow

  • Wish Brandon Lee would come back. As the Crow, if possible.

  • @du0lol And kill everyone involved in the making of the reboot.

  • @TheJayTrain Words cannot express how much I agree with you on this.

  • I remember watching the Movie of The Crow when I was nineteen, and I heard Nine Inch Nails for the first time, singing Dead Souls. I still love NIN and Trent Reznor now at age thirty-four. I have never heard music which touched my heart as much and some songs such as Everyday Is Exactly The Same, Something I Can Never Have and A Warm Place can still bring me to tears.

  • This movie it's a true work of art...even if they want to TRY to do something similar...they just can't get the mistic of the first movie.

There are just ONE Crow - and it's the first one!!

    Intemporal.

  • The best Comic to Movie adaption EVERRRRRR! Been in love with this film since it was released and I was all but 13! ahhhh memories!

  • The best Comic to Movie adaption EVERRRRRR! Been in love with this film since it was released and I was all but 13! ahhhh memories!

  • Jesus Mother Of Mary,

Brandon Lee Was So Hot !! ):

    Ima Cry <3

    Brandon Lee.

    Forever And Always.. Hot As FUCK (;

  • Amazing!!!!!!

  • This is a amazing soundtrack! Loving STP, NineInchNails and many more....:-)

  • Who would've thought that a song about horrific memories and butal traumatizations could be so damn catchy?
