i got a question, how bout the nib types? i got a Copic Maker 36 for $85 but i want a nib like Copic Sketch which is soft for brushing. do you know what types of nib does Copic Maker got?
I am in Maryland and the copic Sketch markers are $8 each. I have found them online for a little over six but nothing lower. Do you know who has them around $5? If you could share the secret it would be really, really appreciated. Thanks a bunch, Stephanie
@stephnymd Hello, I've purchased a few during these months through Oozak.com $2.85 Ciao, $4 something for Sketch. Free shipping for orders over $50 and they ship fast. Hope this helps!
how long does it take to get the package in the mail? mine was supposed to come today but it didnt. will it come tomorrow or do i have to wait more? i think it might come tomorrow but i want to be sure
I got the 24 manga set and then after I just buy like 5-7 at a time. Yeah they are pricey but its well worth it. I will never buy another kind of marker again. Copics rule.
Yes, definitely Ciao, the smaller, cheaper ones. You can refill them, but you cannot replace the smaller nib. But they last for ages, so it's not a real problem. (I've sent you a message with a link to the Copic site, btw, where they show you how to do it. :D)
They definitely are, just go the the Copic site - they even show you how to do it, you need to pull out the broad nib with tweezers. I'm sorry I can't add the link, but just google Copicmarker and you'll get to the right site.
if you look at the numbers and letters of the marker u can figure it out. the letter E is for earth tones (such as brown) . I use E51 and E53 for skin. I also hear E00 is a popular choice. You may also want to use R markers (red) for more flushed skin. Looking at a color chart is very helpful in choosing.
Nice. I wish I had this info a long time ago. I use the Copic Multiliners with Sakura Micron Fineliners. I prefer the disposable multiliners more for some reason. I mostly use Ciao markers, simply because of the price of them and brush tips compared to sketch. Then I use some copic sketch and copics too. I usually use touch twin markers instead of ordinary copics though. They're cheaper and I find touch's colourless blender, blends more than copics. I only usually use them for things like eyes.
Depends. like my other comment said, you can check on their site, and if they don't have any place near you, you can order whatever colors you want from the site or maybe some other websites. I'm pretty sure they ship all over the world.
I went to the website a few days ago, and they said they stopped their shipping cauze got some reasons. By the way, when I ordered the copic markers from the site, how do I get them and pay them?
^^ I went to the copic marker site, and they have a little thing, where you put in your address and they tell you the nearest place to get them. Mine came from an art shop an hour's drive from my house. I thought a bigger company like michael's would have them but they don't. they seem to be sold in little random art shops.

I live in Indiana and the going rate for the sketch markers at Hobby Lobby is 6.49 without tax. Also, the 72 set is 350. :] Hope this helped someone.

Can you use the different kinds of markers with each other? For example use Ciaos with Sketch markers?
mrshackztor 2 years ago
yup, but you have to be quick, blending comes out best while the ink is still wet, and it dries pretty fast.
as long as you don't let it dry, they can be mixed and matched well.

Copic Ciao's are NOT refillable.
Only the sketch and the regular ones are.

They are - I refill mine and they are cheaper.

Lol, that's very odd, since mine aren't refillable.

Sure, I believe you; but just a little question:
Are we still talking about copic CIAO?
And not the regular and the sketch ones?
