  • koala face at the end)))

  • Sheldon needs the, "I Void Warranties" shirt from ThinkGeek.

  • I like sub-par hygiene, and sitting next to people on the no fly list. Thus, I take the train.

  • Sheldon: I like trains... *hit by train*

  • a nazi got top comment? and he/shes been up there for 7 months???? are ppl that anal about spelling and grammar?

  • It's like talking to a chimp. lol

  • Cool = legal!

  • the fuck? why do those guys let themselves be bitch slapped by sheldon like that?

  • @bbphnix This is the natural order of things. Sheldon's vote trumps all. -_-

On a side note. I was planning a trip to NY and was shocked by the relative prices of train vs. airplane. The train was only $20 cheaper and took significantly longer, it is hard to find a reason to use this as a mode of transportation for longer trips.

  • @oneperson2person the train does not produce as much CO² as the plane thats a good reason :D

  • @DieFrauAmHerd look at Sheldon being all green.

  • @oneperson2person Because you'd have a greater amount of time to get to know someone as limber as Summer Glau?

  • Sheldon likes trains.

    "NNNNEEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!" (train noises)

  • "For taking daffodils to your unicorn.." LOL!

  • People with a little bit of understanding will understand the epic factor of bio-organic cellular computer devices. That's basically the first step to the creation of living androids.

  • I heart Sheldon, but scenes like this make me think that if I knew him in real life, I wouldn't be able to stand him.

  • Don't they already live in Califoria? Why then would they need a plain/train to get to san fran?

  • @sadpanda256

They live in Pasadena, which is almost 400 miles away from San Francisco.

  • ......i like trains

  • Sheldon's grin is creepy, but freakin amazing. I wish I watched the show more...

  • Sheldon likes trains. *random train runs him over*

  • George Smoot is actually helping with the show

  • Calling penny a chimp is an insult to chimps

  • Whether or not they try to act super-intelligent, at least now we have decent role models who always show good morals along with dedication to knowledge.

  • JUST ONE THOUGHT . WHY DON'T THEY JUST LET SHELDON USE THE TRAIN N THE REST OF THEM USE THE PLANE?

  • @JialiangSun Simple, Sheldon would not approve of being left to travel alone, and since he's kind of the boss, well...

  • Even though the show is really funny, but I blame The Big Bang Theory for making some smart people becoming those self-central human beings. They really start to think that they are always right and the others are always wrong.

  • @zero62422002 Probably because they've always been smart and you've always been wrong :P

  • I was correcting other people's grammar and spelling well before this show started. This show is great fun but does not make me think I'm smarter than I actually am. If anything, this show makes me feel dumber.

  • @jamgrieve Grammar and proper spelling is essential to collective notion of modern society. We need to practice it more to survive our English language. In other words, English is beginning to die out just like Latin did in replace of lazy execution. Moron terms "lyk OMG society is sooooo dumb".

  • @jamgrieve you shouldnt feel dumb, they are of course FICTIONAL characters where as YOU are the real deal ;)

  • Oh man. Torx screwdrivers are only used for ONE THING that's voiding warranties.

  • i would like to ride her cable cars;0

  • I am in my first year of college and I understand most of what they talk about on the show...does that make me a geek?...probably

  • @Coweena No, they didn't really say anything that complicated.

  • @perfectdark158 Good to know

  • It's impressive they have managed to build an entire show around a exaggeratedly nerdy intellectual rattling off complicated-sounding (but legitimate) scientific topics, followed by a short delay and an incongruously "normal" response from party girl. Do they have someone constantly combing the theoretical physics literature to find humorously geeky-sounding articles? Personally, I find it more entertaining to read the articles rather than passingly guffaw at their complexity from my sofa.

  • "this little orange sticker is all that stands between us...and anarchy"

  • I don't blame him, the first season of Battlestar Galactica was the Best

  • I love how Sheldons so excited that they're taking the train! =)

  • Kind of a funny name, though: Smoot. Sounds like something I'd do to her once we go naked.

  • @doncelmens

I dont actually believe about the unimportant stuffs. There are just things important to some people that seems unimportant to other people. Some people believes correct English grammar is important, some will say "#@&k grammar, as long as you could understand each other". Some details of the POP culture is important to Penny that Sheldon finds weird. We just have our own individual views on which things are important.

  • thumbs up the the person who did the subtitles!!!!!!!

  • @DEATH2thaSTUpid

It's portuguese (if you didn't knew)

  • kill the 5 dislikes

  • we are taking the train - with an evil smile-!!!

  • I love his smile when he says "were taking the train" !!!

  • This is just one of many reasons why I consider Sheldon a pain in the ass. I would personally tell Sheldon to go on the train alone, and I go on the airplane.

  • i HATE this show....

    Bazinga

  • Don't want to offend, subjectivity and all (and this vid isn't even a great example) but for a show about "intelligent" people, this show is pretty infantile.

  • @thetwentyfourth I think if they made TV shows targeted to PHD physics students then it would'nt really be terribly popular.

  • @36clashfan77 A show doesn't have to be inaccessibly 'intellectual' to be intelligent. Fair enough though. I guess I'm just venting my disappointment with the show. The person who told me about it talked it up as a clever show. I thought "Cool, nerd culture comedy. Should be funny." I thought the same about the IT crowd when the same person told me about it. Turns out it's not nerd culture at all, but horrible nerd stereotypes and sitcom-style emotional childishness. Bummer.

  • Sheldon's smile when he says 'We're taking the train' - so sweet!!

  • ok this is scary...i understod 1/3 of the sheldon's rant at 1:45...curse you leo laporte for filling my head with knowlage while i play games!

  • We are taking the train...lol!!!!!!!

  • Its a trap!

  • Actually Raj, it's TWOP OPTIONS, not two CHOICES. Two options within one choice

  • We're taking the Train :)

  • hahahaha

  • Three of us voted for aeroplane ,Sheldon voted for train..so.....we are taking the train..head down*...haha..

  • Didn't realize cool = legal in the subtitles. O__0

  • that was muy legal

  • GO GEORGE SMOOT!

  • 0:59

  • We're taking the TRAIN!

  • lol love Sheldon

hey everyone, my friend has reached strike 3 (I'm using Sheldon's strike system), can anyone think of any Sheldon-like ways of punishing him? =P =]

  • @nightwrighterBLSBBMg If you honestly want to punish someone Sheldon style, you'd have to constantly lecture them on what they did wrong, otherwise how would they learn? :)

  • @FaxModem1 nice one, so true =] I'm already learning to talk like him

  • @nightwrighterBLSBBMg I would just start being super annoying about everything like him. Or you could just "banish" him like sheldom did.

  • haha gotta love sheldon xD he makes me laugh so hard

  • I'm talking to a chimp!

    hooray!

  • there,

    we´re outlaws

    :D

  • I love Sheldon's smile.

  • Does Sheldon have a fear of flying or does he just love trains? LOL

  • loves trains

  • @rtds9fan he loves trains

  • Well, 3 of us voted for "airplane", Sheldon voted for "train", so we're taking the train...

Don't say it like that Leonard say it like: "We're taking the train!"

  • Aww! Sheldon is so cute when he says "We're taking the train" and smiles at 2:27! X3

  • Pause at 2:29. Funny as face.

  • I will forever love Sheldon Cooper.:):):):):):)

  • for taking daffodils to your unicorn.... hahahaha

  • even though I love the show, I blame TBBT for making every single person watching it believe that they are superintelligent nerds themselves and start pointless arguments about grammar and other unimportant stuff.

  • agreed

  • cool did u know there is only 2 chromosome of difference between humans and chimps... i hope u get my point .. besides understanding and knowing is a huge difference....

  • you have to bear in mind that not all people understand and know the stuff they talk about on TBBT. For example, I know what are they saying and can easily translate to my own native language but the background of some materials they use are way too more scientific to grasp.

    Love the show btw. :))

  • You neglected to capitalise your 'e' in 'even'.

    JK obviously!

  • @donclemens Grammar is worth having arguments over.

  • @donclemens And you pointing that out makes you one also. Gl hf ;)

  • @donclemens too bad for you, I wa already one when i started waching it...i understand 89% of what they say...

  • @zeldafreak000 If you actually did the math, I'll believe you do.

If not I'll be forced to inform you that 87% of all statistics are completely made up.

  • @donclemens but that's basically the point . To confuse people.

  • @donclemens Unimportant stuff? Well, tell me about the important stuff. As long as we are not living in stone ages, I think thah education is not that unimportant issues. You can ask poor african children, if they wish or do not wish to have a chance to study :/

  • @27p16and41p666 'that'

  • @donclemens I'm sorry, but your arguement is inadequate. You must understand that the superlative ambience of your hyperdilective nuances are beyond the grasp of the gravity of pi times x squared to the negative of alpha beta. I mean honestly, it's as obvious as can be.

  • @Viper718xx Son, you try too hard.

  • @donclemens Grammar is always important if we lower the standard of how we write/type things it lowers the bar for all humanity, then any kind of intelligence that is left in the world will be drowned out and we descend into anarchy.

  • @KiwiKid4Lyf considering the way the US government is treating citizens, anarchy would be really useful right now

  • @donclemens No thats just common on across all the internet.

  • @donclemens Grammar and stuff is quite important. It does not matter that they are started by watching TBBT.

  • @donclemens

me and my friends do arguments of unimportant stuff, do I win?

  • @donclemens

That s what George Smoot said.

  • @donclemens Pointless arguments about grammar have been going on since the invention of internet chatting.

  • @donclemens I could see that, but I am intelligent enough to know that the characters' portrayed inteligence is not that of real life astrophysicists, and particle physicists. I am positive the reason for that is that if they did make such intelectual jokes, extremely few, not including myself, would understand the jokes, thus making the show unpopular.

  • @scienceman89 ...

  • @donclemens Umm there are. I do that with my friends!

  • @donclemens unimportant 'things'

  • @donclemens

    sarcasm?? :P

  • @donclemens True but can you really blame human nature when greasies wanna be smarter and nerds wanna be tougher out of pure insecurity and lack of self esteem? It has always been like this, the human race seeks change even if its for worse. And I agree with jamgrieve from the "this show" part.

  • @donclemens I wouldn't really know. I was superintelligent long before TBBT. I'm just leaving this comment to add to the mountains of data you've accumulated as proof for your theory. In the face of this data I suppose that it's true that if I watched "Jersey Shore" I'd turn into a mindless, empty human not worth the price of a bullet to kill myself with. Yup, makes sense.

  • @donclemens lol! no kidding. agreed. it's getting ridiculous on some of the comments....

  • @donclemens agreed. just enjoy the show.

  • aww leonard's so cute. i want to kill sheldon but i love him at the same time HAHA. why do they let him call the shots? well, probably because he has such great graphic tees

  • We're taking the train! lmfao

  • we're taking the trian

    yay!

  • Why should anarchy be so bad?

  • That is easy to say when you live in a functional government such as the US. Would you really be okay with living in a society that allows complete and total freedom to it's citizens.

  • Yep.

  • Your not even going to make an argument?

  • Why would I?

Let me ask you,, would you want to live in a government that controls you and barely gives you no rights?

  • Your grammar is horrible. You cannot use two negatives in one sentence unless you intend to make it positive. "Would you want to live in a government that controls you and barely gives you no rights" has two negatives, therefore is grammatically incorrect.

  • I love it when people run out of arguments and starts bashing on grammar instead...

  • I did not 'run out of arguments' as you would say, I simply was pointing out your errors. Most people would defend their comment. By agreeing with me, you just contradicted yourself.

  • Wait, can you even be telling this guy that his 'grammar sucks' when you used 'your' instead of 'you're'?

I think there's an adage about throwing stones in glass houses. You should Google it.

  • Yes, I am well aware of that proverb, thank you. You are completely correct. I must have made a typo. I assure you, that was not intentional.

  • No. I would hope people would have learned that lesson from Lord of the Flies.

  • I can't believe I'm saying this but Sheldon's so cute!!!

  • Really? I don't swing that way, but you're not the only one who thinks that.

  • aww he's smiling :3

  • well sheldon really likes trains aparently, come to think of it, he DID dressed up a a "brain damaged" choo choo train in season 1....;:)

  • haha. funny. i love it when penny and sheldon argue r insulting each other

  • we're taking the train!

  • haha, I can't believe I actually understand what these dudes say on this show - wohoo for undergrad science courses!!

  • haha "Say it like 'We're taking the train!'"
