"we're going to make garlic chicken today. you need merry christmas chicken leg"

    so random haha

  • i thought he was saying cooking a dog

  • stab is a proper word for it c:

  • tht looks delicious

  • you said grilled???

  • Happy Christmas Runny! /^_^\

  • lol stab that chicken XD

  • maybe it would be better to add the garlic slices when the oil is cold. will burn less easily

  • I thought you only do Japanese but you do other forgien stuff. SO CAN YOU DO KOREAN FOOD , PLEASE!!!!!! If you want

  • very nice idea. i think a good variation would be replacing the olives with sliced hot peppers

  • @gravecactus or adding them to it. perhaps a bit of chipotle adobe glaze after cooking

  • Looks good! I will try it.

  • You showed the nice idea to us.

I will try to hide my secret savings and porno DVD between the body and skin of chicken.

  • Hello there! Have you tried intellectus 424 diet (search on google)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my sister lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • Hmm didn't like the music very much, I just like to hear all the various noises of your cooking. :P

  • Will you adopt me?

  • the music is....................interesting....

  • "you should try dis one! please. Yeaah! is good!" :D haha awesome

  • Nice touch with the cheese... I love anything with cheese on it!!!! ☆〜(ゝ。∂)

  • runny are you a cheif as a living?

  • It looks like hes tucking in the olive garlic and basileaf to bed

  • You don't stab the chicken. It is called tenderizing the chicken.

  • Go runny kill that chicken!

  • Your the host of cookingwithdog i thought francis was :P

  • DIE CHICKEN BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA..... what too much? ._.

  • I think the word you're looking for when stabbing the chicken is 'perforate'.

  • ur a big eater XD

  • it should be 'cooking with spaz' or 'cooking with bored bachelor'. no offense meant, i really like it! and i really admire that he promotes his counterpart (cookingwithdog) instead of bad-mouthing the competition.

  • Call me weird but at 1:04 the oil looks like a dragon or something lol. I know quite random

  • I like how you show the recipes that work and the ones that don't. Thanks for the great ideas!

  • i think that the term "stab" is perfect for what you did

    thank you it was great

  • love your cooking videos :)))next time use some parmigiano cheese, it will not melt and you will definitely be able to taste it xoxo

  • That's good advice,"put anything you want inside the skin of a chicken" xD

  • your food is very high in fat and oil im suprised ur not obese eatin this all the time ,ive watched all your vids and the amount of oil is ALOT

  • the music is badass

  • I just love watching you cook. Very real, honest, unpretentious. And you cook like real people cook which is refreshing and actually better for most of us as we are not chefs. :-)

  • i love how you said "cooking with dog" in the beginning, so funny hahaha

  • he likes chicken!

  • Yes stab gets the message across lol or pierce

  • What happened to the garlic you friend earlier??

  • i want to cook !! but im too young .. :(

  • Its looks so goooooooooooooooooooooooooood!!!!!!!

  • You live in kansai! I heard that osaka-ben :P

  • what was the flour for and why was only on 1 side????

  • Is that your lunch?

  • Hope you are well after the earthquake. Poke instead of stab would be a better cooking term when poking holes in something. This looks delicious but I like crispier skin.

    Take care!

  • It is ok to day stab, because you killed that chicken!! Lol — . —

  • i would love to marry you

    *drool

  • haha, i love the start, cooking with dog! ^_^

  • u should cook the chicken 1st then u put the cheese

  • @1:22 maybe poke ? lol

  • the cheese melted when you put the lid ontop =[[[[ you should have made some sauce with that liquid in the pan

  • i can't find any merry christmas chicken leg

  • You did good and I will sure use your recipe.

  • にんじんは体にいいです!

  • YES the ONE recipe that i have the ingredients for!

  • cooking with dog?

  • Wow, it looks delicious. I'm gonna try this when I get the chance.

  • You always wonder what happened to the cheese, (octopus balls), cracks me up. I watch the cooking with dog show, too. I guess she uses that trick because she can't speak English. It's cute, and her food looks great, but you are so much more interesting and entertaining to watch

  • I used to do this, but instead of frying the chicken I baked it in stuffing.

  • "it's ready to fly.".haha..such a funny guy..please make more videos.. :D

  • your recipes are the best because it's made so easy and it looks delicouis i wish i was in japan right now !! and you should be an super chef you got good techniques. i think a good chef gets hiss skills out of experience and you got lots of experience!! i live in holland an i wished all the japanese restaurants have this food!! see your video later!!

  • "I am runnyrunny, host of this show, COOKINGWITHDOG. KIDDING! Cooking with Runny!"

Your intro cracked me up. And the chicken looks sooooo good!!!

  • there is just something about japanese people and spoofs xD u guys are epic!

  • lol you sound just like the cookingwithdog guy. lol

  • i saw your video of garlic chiken.its looks very nice and very delicious .

i want to try this and thanks for giving us good racipe.

  • This ones really good! made it today! XD its really simple and really gooD ^_^ plus! the ingredients are really easy to get!

  • u re awesome

  • i think "tenderize" would be the better term to use instead of "stab"

but i liked "stabbing the chiken" waaaay better! makes the process of cooking fun

  • RUNNY GOTZ SOME ISSUES LOL [x

  • wow... maybe if u remove the skin, you can just make the chicken cordon blue... with some various things inside :D

  • Try using a cheese with strong flavor.

  • I think you should use the term "jab" or "insert" probably more likely to sound better is insert though, :)

  • I'm sure it's delicious ,me too in Italy use similar ingredients I call this dish "involtini". But you have to come here and taste Italian food .Will you come?? Will you tell me if you do it?

    ciaooo

  • He definitively is sooo cute!! Love your vids, I'll watch them all and that looked really yummy! Thanx for posting these vids runnyrunny999!!

  • AWW U LOOK SO CUTE... :D

    GREAT VIDEO!

  • great video, keep up the good work

    : )

  • i would use cheese and jam XD like in cordon blue? hmmm XD

  • I really enjoy watching your videos. Your cooking lessons are short, easy, entertaining and straight to the point that any guy can do.

  • looks good! yum!

  • great video, that looks pretty good to eat.

  • damn, that does look good. definetly trying that. maybe with a side of those backed mashed potatos.

  • you look younger

  • I think it's okay to say "stab" :)

I'm not sure I'll put cheese in my chicken, though lol

  • roney, what do you say at 4:54?

  • No, It looked like he stabbed the chicken to me, and with some great force! DIE CHICKEN DIE! oh wait, its already dead. . .

  • You poked the chicken with a fork. Not "stab".

  • LOLLLLLLLL omg!!! cooking with dog i laugh so much loll

  • Instead of stab, I guess you could use "poke some holes into", but that is just a longer way of saying the same thing. I just discovered you while looking for videos on how to make okonomiyaki. Not sure about the chicken and the cheese, however, the chicken with basil, olives, and garlic looked really fantastic! Thank you for your videos! If you need any help or ever get confused with an english phrase, I would love to try and help!

  • I <3 Japanese people, garric and Chicken Reg

    =D HAHAHAHAHA

  • are you supposed to say cookingwithdog? hahahahah u crack me up when u say that keep makin these videos!

  • @Joakimbrian1 Heck yeah! He sounded just like the narrator from "cookingwithdog"!

  • @Joakimbrian1 Cooking with Dog. XD It's another channel that shows Japanese cooking. She's got a poodle named Francis. :D

  • @akforever112210

hahaha, i love cooking with dog.

runny got Francis' accent totally right too.

    XD

  • hahahah this was funny!

  • I think it's called tenderizing, but "stabbing" the chicken makes more sense :)

  • lol 5:57

    "where is cheese?!"

  • ahaha the intro is spot on. This dish looks good.

Your cooking episodes are fun to watch! keep them coming!!

  • MMM

  • You are better than CookingWithDog...

My New Year`s Resolution is that I am going to learn how to cook.

  • I'll make some sweets with the Irish cream you gave to me the other day. Thanks again Eric san!

  • 6.38 haha xD

    Awesome video !

    *****

  • looks lovely!!!

I think the best phrase to use rather than "stab" say "pierce the skin of the chicken with a fork", i think that sounds the most natural.

    Keep up the great vids!!!!

  • Thanks for the advice :)

  • Awesome!

  • damn, that's a lot of garlic on one chicken, lol. Looked great though!

TIP: if you pierce the chicken, you lose the juices and tenderness

  • MMMMMMMMMM! can i join you next time?

  • What does runnyrunny999 do for a job?

  • looks delicious xD!!!

  • The chicken looks so delicious! It also looks very moist. I'm not sure about eating the skin since it's high in saturated fat, but I bet it compliments the taste more! : )

  • Yeah it's like food for guy's, isn't it?...I'm not vegetarian so...

  • @runnyrunny999 Even though you are no real chef, you're my favorite :D

  • @runnyrunny999 yeh mayb something u eat once in a while? (for girls)

  • Runny! Great video!

  • "You need to "stab" the chicken." This is okay, but, you can also say:

-You need to poke small holes in the chicken

-You need to make holes in the chicken.

This is all okay. Stab sounds a little violent but it's still very normal.

  • Thanks for the info :) I see. ''poke small holes in the chicken''. I never thought about it. I thought that using ''stab'' was a little violent as well.

  • @runnyrunny999 pierce chicken with fork is correct. i'm a native english speaker. great chicken!

  • Thank you :)

  • That's some good looking food! Now I'm ready for lunch! Thanks for sharing. -Kurt :-)

  • Another great vid Taro! Loved the "stabbing" ~ some horror film music would have complimented the scene! Or like maybe the theme from 'Jaws' or something. :)

    ありがとう!

  • LOL

  • @runnyrunny999 just to inform you guys dont say lol and great vid

  • Hmmmm thats looks good like usual !!! Well happy Xmass!!!

  • Are you living alone, what you do for living runny

  • I do youtube for living lol

  • Taro - you could also try using the garlic by adding spinach, greek feta cheese, black olives, ground black pepper, a tiny bit of crushed red pepper flakes and olive oil :-) I love cooking with Runny!

  • Wow Runny! So happy with all the food video uploads.. Shiawase desu!

I will try to cook it this weekend! I'll add some sundried tomatoes and maybe prosciutto as well. And yes, can't go wrong with garlic. :) You're genius!

  • I learned how to cook from my mom, and book. I just like cooking sometimes. I know you are a lot more like a real chef than me. You can always make it better!

  • looks great, thank you for making this video!

  • lol stab that chicken! (^ω^) Is it so that the spices remains on the skin?

I've never seen chicken like that before, I'll have a look at my grocery store if we have any with the skin and all like that~

You really do love garlic don't you? There's too much in there for my liking :P Have you ever tried using Thai basil instead of Italian basil?

Also I think adding cheese was a good idea, you need something like swiss cheese, it would definitely taste better!

  • Stab the chicken, it's for garlic flavor can be absorbed easily from olive oil which has been seasoned by garlic.

    Thanks for the advice!

  • Oishii!!

  • Oh it looks good! My husband will like this! <3

  • May be you'll be the next dog voice in CWD channel,

  • That would be hardest accent LOL

  • Sounds good. You are a far better cook than I am my friend!

Please do more cooking videos! Your videos are very entertaining.

  • You know I'm not professional...Just amateur cooking video on my channel. But let's enjoy cooking!
