This is very impressive and they're less than $100 now but the Amazon reviews say the company went out of business does the service still work and is it still $15/mo like some of the reviews say?

Yes, it should, but I would wait until June 2010. Worldgate will have it's new videophone out then.

this thing needs bluetooth for headsets etc. speakerphone is kinda well meh holding the handset is also met at the computer, it's a no brainier that this needs BT

Hi! I'm looking into getting a VP and am wondering if you know how fast your internet connection needs to be? Does it matter?  Mine is DSL and the broadband test came back 112 upload speed and 860 download speed.

The faster the upload speed, the better. The Ojo has a minimum setting for 100 kbps upload speed, so it should work OK for you.

You may also want to check if you can upgrade your connection speed.
