Also, in the 80s people who received transfusions from donors who later developed AIDS or had died from it also ended up developing the disease. When they investigated they found these people had received blood from donors who had died of AIDS or were dying from it. As for cell cultures, the few labs that were looking for a virus in early 80s couldn't because their cell lines kept dying, whatever was causing AIDS was killing their cells rather quickly.

Not many scientists cared for it since they believed it was caused by poppers or over-stimulation of immune system. However, the NIH did tests on animals and they found that poppers could not cause the symptoms of AIDS, also people who did not meet the profiles of the first cases started getting it as well so it was clear that poppers and over-stimulation were not the cause.

since taking the time to look at things from an unbiased point of view, what i have come to conclude is that many people who are + and decide to not take the meds eventually end up taking them because they do get very ill and will die without them. azt is in fact still used in combination with other meds that have/do prolong the lives of those infected and, undeniably, its use is still controversial. meds are prescribed on a benefit to risk ratio (all meds). i am an interested student nurse.

@mykoolaidtastesfunny, I know about what Luc says though in the docu "House of Numbers" he does admit that the virus exists. He believes most people can fight the virus off, that only those with weak immune systems can fall susceptible to the virus and progress to AIDS. Also, there must be evidence for the existence if even Duesberg admits the virus exists, he simply doesn't believe it causes AIDS.

IF what Montagnier found was the cause of aids then WHY wasn't it causing aids in his patient and WHY didn't Gallo find it in his full blown aids patients? Montagnier has been trying to back out of this VMD mess for decades. He's too spineless though

@mykoolaidtastesfunny , They're not going to inject people with what ever AIDS patients have, they test it on cell cultures and the cells die in those cultures. Also, in the 80s people who received transfusions from donors who later developed AIDS or had died from it also ended up developing the disease. How do you explain these cases that occurred before AZT was even was available? People had been receiving blood for decades so why suddenly in the 80s they developed immune problems from it?

@mykoolaidtastesfunny, People in car accidents or with gun wounds receive blood transfusions and we did not see them getting AIDS before 1980s. When they investigated they found these people had received blood from donors who had died of AIDS or were dying from it. As for cell cultures, the few labs that were looking for a virus in early 80s couldn't because their cell lines kept dying, whatever was causing AIDS was killing their cells rather quickly.

He reports that images wanted for the Science papers, do.........NOT....... contain HIV XE "HIV" (HTLVIII) as Gallo had claimed, but only cellular rubbish. @mykoolaidtastesfunny, It was all Gallo's idea? He wasn't even interested in the beginning about AIDS. Not many scientists cared for it since they believed it was caused by poppers or over-stimulation of immune system. However, the NIH did tests on animals and they found that poppers could not cause the symptoms of AIDS, also people who did not meet the profiles of the first cases started getting it as well so it was clear that poppers and over-stimulation were not the cause.
