I simply love the Imperium. The greatest empire in all of sci fi, in my opinion. I just love how our Emperor himself knew he wouldnt return when he went up against Horus, but he also knew he would be saving the billions of humans alive at the time and the billions more to come. The sense of heroics the armies and individuals of the imperium show is nothing short of epic. A last stand with some blood angels terminators or a savage final strike from a group of space wolves.
@ImperialGuard322nd Aren't they the White Scars? Their colour scheme is white with some red tribal markings, which is completely different from the Luna Wolves shown on the cover of Horus Rising.
@Kaos77Kisame if you look you can see that most of their trim is black, not red, most of the red being on the officers. I know the art that you talk about, I think the that is after they became the Sons of Hours, cursed be their name.
@ImperialGuard322nd I came to the conclusion that they're white scars on the observation of the red tribal markings on their armour and bolters, but I have to concur to your analysis after I spotted the left shoulder guard of the bottom-left marine, you cannot see the legion symbol in full, but it does seem to be a Luna Wolf icon. Long live the memory of those Luna Wolves who gave their lives in the Emperor's name.
Kick ass! My fave band combined with my fave hobby. Although NW are my fave band I think there are other bands who have songs more suited to 40k. For example Manowar, Sabaton, Hammerfall, Dragonforce and Disturbed. Oh and then there's Bolt Thrower some of there songs are actualy about 40k the ones from the Realm Of Chaos Album anyway
@2SSSR2 The fact that many of the emperor's enemies are unkillable, innummerable, indestructible, and indistinguisible made this task a little difficult.
