The males are silver dollar stonnie and the female is hickory nut harry and the light is night light 28 volt. Buy a led and you bought a light don't buy halogen. Bright eyes, Timothy's, or Blazer. I use a Tim's led plugged into my night light battery and never have to charge my light stays up a long time.

Why would you trade one of her pups I think a black and tan are one of the best breeds out there and when they are trained they sale better than a walker or bluetick. I like them all I got walkers and a bluetick but still like my dads ole black tan the best.

@nwards well my dad would get the money if i did just sell the pups because im omnly 14 he wouldent let me have like 600-1000 dollars he would put it in the bank so i would either trade one of them pups for another 8 week old walker or a 8 week old blue tick or another black an tan so i can breed them as pairs!

Yea I got one dog videos but they are older. I use one trained dog and normally the rest are stupid and in training. lol and I have ended up in the walker bred but any dog that trees is welcome here.

@nwards ok thankyou b/c I had a coonhound at one point and she was very good at what she did before i went into the army (I didnt sell her, let my buddies use her and they lost her and never found her). Now I'm thinking bout getting two coonhounds and training them to coon hunt. Do you have any pointers that you think will help out?

Buy 2 pups from a litter I will have next month and you will have some hounds proven too hunt.... lol They should be show dogs and coon dogs.big with loud mouths.

@alstott47 If you ever happen to lose a dog on a hunt, try leaving a shirt or something with your smell on it near where you cut them loose. I've found several the next morning laid up on my shirt.... if they werent still treed somewhere lol

what sex do you think is better for hunting?

I don't go by sex just the dog. Some times I like breeding of the same litter of dogs if the sire and dam are the same as a dog that I have been having good luck with. I have got two litters on the way and one is crossed with a higher breed female same sire as my pups and my bandit and lassie dogs are doing great. They are 8 months old and bandit split treed with the meat tonight but I made a poor video.

Kill em all... We have such a problem with coon populations up here in MN.. They don't get trapped or hunted very much and they are out of control.. Pheasants,waterfowl nests just get devastated..

Sounds good to me.. I was talking to some guys last fall from southern IL, and they were up coon hunting with a pile of dogs.. They said they had never treed so many coons. These boys looked like they had run a coon or two in their day.

Tims hunting supply and any of the tech one leds are the cheapest bang for tha buck. The led is bright and even at 6 volts will last longer than any other light on the market. Bright as a 21 volt....
