    "10.8v / 3.7v = 2.9" Then use 3pcs 3.7v batteries and connect them in series so that you can get the 10.8v.

    Dont use 6pcs 3.7v in series so that you wont get a 22.2v, just make a 2 series of 3.7v(3pcs=10.8v) then connect them in parallel so that you can maximize the capacity of the cells and not the voltage. :)

  • hi buddy,i just opened my HP DV6700 laptop battery.there are 6 cells init.i dont know about their voltage.on the back of my battery it says 10.8 V. if i replace all six cells with 3.7V CELLS then in totall voltage will be 22.2 V. so i am confused if 3.7V size batteries are ok to use or not.which size batteries should should i order..please letme know and do me a favour if you can be specific about the size and voltage and name of the batteries.and what should i write on ebay.please help me out
