That sucks weenie, that happened to me once with a 200 ppl crowd but it was more because the stupid club had a "house like" electrical system so that the stuff got over heated and after me "dj" rock band brought from mexico to denver got pretty angry at the electrical problem and took off to their hotel... That really sucked

You are so right! That IS the worst nightmare for a DJ. I'm also taking a mobile disco out to parties, and i'm ALWAYS dragging power from plugs around the whole room so i'm making sure that nothing is getting overloaded - cause i tried it one time to many, and it IS so damn frustrating when you have to build up the crowd so many times from the beginning again and again. Its a Pioneer DJM800 with CDJ100MkIII's. I use the best too. ;) I had this same experience. You at least wish the mic would work but of course it does'nt. LOL Good job of not loosing your own enthusiasm. That is what kept it going I would say. It becomes a long night real quick. Good work YAK.

In hindsight, its funny, in future perspective, it could be a challenge if you did NOT explain that to the crowd, because anyone viewing that who may hire you could have second thoughts and NOT hire you based on that one fact! I have been DJ'ing 26 years. After the second power outage, I would have IMMEDIATELY told the crowd of this, that way, you ass is covered for circumstances beyond your control! Just some helpful thoughts! Next, ditch the CD's and run 2 laptops...other than that, PLAY ON!

Sounds like you are doing a great job on the gig, but with the electrical scenario and weather scenario you explained about in the video... I would have made some type of announcement to the crowd and explained that (at that point to the best of your knowledge because you were in the middle of a gig) that due to the weather, there are some electrical problems happening and you are doing your best under the circumstances to keep things going. On every event is your responsability to know how much power your system draw and if the wall outlet is up to... olso thats why you should run a sound check with all light on, fogger etc and volume beyon the regular loudness level.

Never had problems with mk3's.

One night i was spinning with those damnn cdj 1000 mk2.

I have never had good experience with them because they suck badly..

Whenever i press the cdj to go to the next song, it goes to the previous song, or stays tuck.

This one time i spinned with one of those mk2's and all of the sudden the cdj turned it self off, and went on again, went off again, and continued for like a minute with the first track of the song. Really!
