The thing about Jimi Hendrix, he had a brief career of three years, yet created amazing studio and live albums like the Band of Gypsies. He showed what you can really do with the electric guitar who just played with dirt/soul, had innovative studio practices (1983) and even Miles Davis wanted to collaborate with him.
