Bahari does not get it! they were just playing their stupid games with him, this is how spy agencies work, they have no logic in their approach it is not about the person being interrogated, it is about the fucking interrogator and their fucking corrupt agency who think with their ass. He was probably being interrogated by (VEVAK) Iran's intelligence people. What kind of people will be attracted to being a spy in the first place? Spy agencies are the same shit all over the world. Issue makers.
These are the worst Iranians in the world. They sell their selves to American stupidity. All they want is the quick attention and their books sold. CNN just wanted to slam the daily show.
In lifestyle polygraph tests used by the NSA for example they have a similar technique to test people they're interrogating. Since polygraph machines by themselves are useless, only depending on the operator and what the perceptions of the interviewee and combined with the questions, the Iranian feds wanted to gauge his response to insane questions so that he might reveal real information they wanted. In other words, they were messing with his mind.
hah, sounds like something out of "The Men Who Stare at Goats"..
hm, you may be right but personally i think you give too much credit to Iranian feds. In these kind of situations i prefer the "people are complete morons" explanation

The interrogators didn't really believe that Jason Jones was a spy or anything. They wanted to mess with Maziar Bahari's mind.
It was a mind game.

and how do you know that exactly?
