@apprevee Eh I beg to differ. If you look closely, you can still see the tone of my ghillie fibers, proving that you can still see me. The bushes are covering parts of me, but the overall shape is still there. I still see what you mean though. It's all good.

That footage was on a hill sloping toward the camera, so it would be very difficult to hide behind something...in fact that footage is as close as a bird's eye view as I can get. In 1:28 you can clearly see the outline of my headpiece. I'm not hiding behind things, only amidst them. Watch my new video and then talk to me about hiding in the open.

as u said a ghillie should be 40% jute 60% natural veg.......will it still be ok and look good if i make the entire suit out of jute and just cover it then in natural veg?
@Leevancleff Yeah I guess you could, as that's what I did. But the thing is, since I completely covered it with jute, There isn't much room for the NV. So now, I have to squeeze it in, and it can be hard. So leaving a bit of small bald patches here and there will be better, I guess. It's up to you, as if you leave bald spots, you kinda have to put NV on, but if you cover the suit completely, it'll be faster, but you won't look as hidden....

@Leevancleff I'm still unsure what you're asking. Here, I'll give it another go: The best ghillie suits are 100% Natural vegetation. Period, that's just how it is. Now, most suits that are pretty good are about 35% burlap, and 65% NV. Now, on my ghillie suit, I covered the entire thing with burlap. Ok....so now to make it look EVEN BETTER, I cover it with natural vegetation here and there. And yes, your suit will look much better after use and once it's broken in. Remember, use nat. vegetation!

@Leevancleff NO! The base coat of camo is supposed to be only jute or burlap. A perfect suit would be one with patches of jute and burlap, and then filled in between the gaps would be natural vegetation. The vegetation will die and wither after a few hours or days, so it won't last. But mine is mainly composed of just burlap and jute, that way I won't HAVE TO put nat. vegetation into it. But it does look better when I do.

Once, I made mud with some dirt and a hose, and drug my suit through that. Don't overdo it though. After a while, it'll look less "perfect". Also, don't expect your ghillie to blend into anything. If you lay in grass, like you said, it's too uniform, and your ghillie will be seen. So use vegetation: Just use the jute strings to tie the plants on...

I had "captured" footage of other younger golfers who got WAY closer than those older ones, but my camera doesn't record unless you press the button down really hard, and I forgot, so I thought I had captured the whole scene, but I didn't. Anyway, give it a go man, it's really fun. Do what I did last time and chuck like 5 golf balls at them and they are SOOOO confused! One even flinched because he thought it came from a stray ball zooming down the fairway!

haah sick vid man! i work at a golf course and imma definatley try that when i get mine in a couple days, haaha it was funny how you gave credits to the golf ball "titelist" haha but nice editing and nice ghillie! keep up the good work!

I had "captured" footage of other younger golfers who got WAY closer than those older ones, but my camera doesn't record unless you press the button down really hard, and I forgot, so I thought I had captured the whole scene, but I didn't. Anyway, give it a go man, it's really fun. Do what I did last time and chuck like 5 golf balls at them and they are SOOOO confused! One even flinched because he thought it came from a stray ball zooming down the fairway!

haha. thats really good. i've watched videos of professionals and i could find them but i only found you once. the throwing golfballs is genuis. im doing something like that when it's warmer. awesome editing also : )

ahaha. yes, im sure i can find some time to do that now that I got a new camera. I am also going to make a new ghillie soon. so there should be a couple videos. Also we got like 20 inches of snow yesterday and i cant do shit ahaha.
