  • im in 7th grade and my teacher wanted us to learn the formulas for SA ans V so he gave us a paper with all t he formulas on it but of course i lost it so now im stuck looking up things like this online

    I don't know the history of these proofs. What I've seen done is the SA formula used to derive the V formula. But, what you've done is the other way around. Which approach is how the formulas developed in history?

  • @wadams19 I believe Archimedes first deduced the V of a sphere, and then got the SA from that.
