  • Update: this criminalization and regularization of leisure is setting a bad precedent...people are intelligent and should be left to make a choice...the law went over and above its intended original purpose i.e. curb MorQue Changaa...gov't should stay off peoples right to pursue happiness!

  • "throat" please. Blame it on my changa impurities

  • This guy just wanna make dough out of poor souls and by the way changa cannot be unhygenic, it is alcohol, it burns the germs all the way down your throught. And what a shame, those askaris just wasted some real good stuff, the seemingly dirty brown liquid is the real chakula kinywaji, it gives you sufficient buzz and quite some food value. Now how can you go wrong with that?

  • There is no Changaa in this video, all they have is busaa.Chang'aa is the Kenyan version of Vodka and i welcome the bill. They should also recognise traditional drinks e.g muratina/karubo.

  • I agree with you there. They should legalize traditional drinks as well and chang'aa is Kenyan Vodka. However liquid in the drums is not busaa nor is it chang'aa. It is the pre-distilled vodka.

  • for once that is a good idea. given the inefectiveness of police to control it due to a high crime rate. Controlled regulation is the next best thing.

  • Ati you legalise changaa in Kenya to bring it in par with other healthy drinks. Haki ya mbwa, that is a fuckin juke!

  • You call that brown shitty stuff in the barrels drinks? Looks like flood waters through Nairobi river. No humans should be allowed to drink this suicidal stuff.

  • Changaa production takes place under suspicious conditions due to its prohibition, a sign of the government not doing its job. Controlled healthy Changaa brewing and demystification offers a quality drink to all drinkers. It could also be a source of revenue for the exchequer. One thing is for sure, whether you legalize Changaa or not, you cannot stop Wanainchi from drinking Changaa. Every society has a peoples alcoholic beverage. Schnapps in Germany and Vodka in Russia. Kenyas is Changaa.

  • @i333 Busaa, besides the nutrition and causing big bellies is a rural party a must have and its affordable. Licence a few Changaa outlets package it right and it will be the Guinness/Daniels in Sub Saharan Africa! Just drink Responsibly!

  • what do you expect, drunkards in power

  • walaaaaaaaaala, we are going backwards again. drunk, poor, illiterate, society. i would not want to be around that

  • changaa should be burned ASAP. there is no need to go backwards.

  • asi! Hata JackDaniels ilianza vivyo hivyo...

KBL now will lower Tusker price. Next ni Weed!

    What a great constitution! hehehehehe!

  • The problem is that many of the heavy drinkers have no healthy care. They die without warning from heavy drinking of changaa. Several villages have perished emass in the last several years especially in the slum areas and in parts of Machakos, Nyanza and the coast.

  • Right! guys eat mitura and empty a whole jerrican of the potent brew, that is the problem! This where the 1,500 will end up!
