i feel like you're using steel/nickel strings, this will kill your classical guitar in the long run, i totally recommend that you switch to nylon.

hmm... just on my part cause this is what i do, and suspect joan does,that looks like a yamaha def model [worth roughly 80 bucks] and it has steel strings on it to obtain that kind of ring that you cant get on nylons while still giving you a decent sized neck to work on [ without paying 2000 dollars for a custom steel string guitar.
