@princepersia1 MODERN Israel was created in 1948, as was Palestine the country. The Jews were given a tiny strip of land/ towns in which they were the majority. Jews had lived there continuously for thousands of years. The Palestinians were also given their own country of Palestine. It was a two state solution. The Arabs attacked the Jews. They lost. I favour a two state solution as do most Jews. The Arabs do not. Most Palestinians left their homes without even seeing an Israeli soldier.

Israel is the only country which is not the state of its citizens. It is one of the few countries that don't have a constitution. Would the USA still be considered a democracy if it abolished its constitution defined itself as being a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant state and that such people would be priviliged and everyone discriminated against. For example those who are Israeli "citizens" definitely pay taxes and then receive little or no services no lighting, electricity or refuse collection. Those in Jerusalem are "residents" they cannot vote but pay taxes but again receive no services ie. there is only one ATM machine in East Jerusalem but dozens in West Jerusalem. Those "Palestinians" who are Israeli citizens receive all the services. All the local level - they do not pay (usually ) taxes to local authorities, and them whine that they don't receive money from the central government.

Most of the arabs in Israel leach on national security services (wealthfare) while working without paying taxes. Or practicing monogamy while "wives" receive money a single mothers.
