Love and duty combined in a war torn world as the story unfolds. What classic lines in the story. Who every wrote the script deserves a Oscar. Ingrid is at her best and so sincere.

There can't be a #1 film in history simply because there are many genres. Maybe Casablanca is the greatest romantic drama, but how about epics, comedies, action/adventure etc. And even in the romantic genre there are equally great films like City Lights, Gone with the Wind, and Roman Holiday.

It's hard to put this film at #1 because of many other films that make me feel so emotionally attached, but I know deep down Casablanca probably deserves it. This song just makes me feel so sad and happy at the same time its crazy, it makes me think more than any other song does. To me, classic songs like this aren't just notes played from a sheet of paper, the song is the thoughts, memories, and emotions it evokes from within the listener, and how it makes you feel.
