hey ronin..havent seen anymore racing vids..what happened? i bought a traxxas slash..any advise on it? weather is bad for flying rite now in south texas..thats why i bought the slash..
@desperado4846 hey man, didn't get out to them too much this summer, but there will be more indoor races we'll be going to soon. Hopefully some indoor on and off road stuff too.
What slash did you get, the 4X4 model with brushless of course?
@warderseeker nah! im starting slow..got the 2wd with the stock 7 c.. thinking of upgrading to the veleneon series..it runs and jumps great stock though..
@desperado4846 oh yah, no worries. it does still go really well stock. If you want, you can easily put a 2cell 4000mah in there, and get some good punch without upgrading to brushless. I have the velineon 2X4 , I like the power slides better than the 4wd
@warderseeker sorry im a noob at this..lol! adjust throttle at the tx rite? what settings would you suggest? for top speed and and torque without overheating..
@desperado4846 no problem, I actually just meant, dont keep the throttle pinned through the whole battery and you should be ok. Just run it a while with the 2cell, then check the temp by hand LOL, should be pretty good, overheat is hotter than you could ever hold for even a second
This video deserves Way More Viewings! Huge Props to everyone involved. I dont think people realize just what it took to do this. First, holding the sweet inverted hover nice and steady, 2nd, the 2nd heli hovering right in the potential landing zone, and 3rd the driver applying just the right amount of power to clear both heli's! The cost alone of the Trex600's if they were to get hit! Huge Props to you guys!!! That was Freaking Kool! You got the Guts and Glory!
@RCRedBaron thanks a lot dude. Fly Hard!! LOL I"m sure it'll get some good hits, just take a bit for it to circulate haha. Heli flight was not bad, got some onboard from the heli as well, see the truggy going by on the drive around LOL The Stryker was the really challenging part, but the helis' would have cost a lot more for repairs for sure.
@bugilt Great Hobbies is a company in Canada, and they have previous seasons of RCTV on their youtube channel. The stuff from this will not be on there until sometime next year probably.
By any chance does anyone know what model the Vw is????

@warderseeker wow! thanx for the info..it wont overheat rite?
desperado4846 1 year ago
@desperado4846 no, won't overheat. I would make sure it's not wide open throttle for the whole battery but shouldn't have any heat problems.
