I can only say that the athleticism is excellent. Unfortunately, I could not say the same for the martial applications. I believe the "extreme martial arts" will be a slow death to the traditional arts. I see these people at tournaments all of the time, competing against others forms that have a long established history. You simply cannot compare the two; they do not sure the same emphasis on attacking and defending. XMA is focused primarily on fine-tuning the body into an extremely fit machine.
