It seems to me that this song was released in the midst of the British Invasion and Beatlemania in the spring of 1964.These three girls from New Orleans had a #1 song when it was difficult for American artists to reach the top 10.They had other songs that did well into 1965,but that was all i heard of them.They did good.

Aah yes,the great British invasion of the USA, it was about time really,US artists had dominated the UK charts for years ! lol
